The
Parable Of TheCall To The Wedding
Banquette: The Gospel parables
present Universal Truths that are
important to the life of every person
alive today. And among the
parables, one of the most
important parabolic teaching that is
relevant in the life of every man, woman
and child, is TheCall to the Wedding
Banquette. This parable is as
relevant to the Christian as it is the
Jew, the Muslim, the Atheist, the Hindu,
the Buddhist and every person from every
walk of life today. And if
this parable was to be understood and
put into practice, the division between
all religions would not only be healed,
but each would be restored to their
original core spiritual condition prior
to being corrupted by mankind. In
fact, the desired peace on earth can
only come when the parable of TheCall is
understood as being relevant across the
spectrum of all mankind.
When rightly understood, the parable of
TheCall must be recognized as an Organic
Fact of Life that is essential for every
person to comprehend the meaning of,
from both a personal and group
perspective. Further, the
core principle of all religions and all
of man's quests to seek the meaning and
his/her true destiny in life, are all
presented in the parable of TheCall.
Not to understand how the parable of
TheCall is relevant to one's own
personal life, is to dwell in abject
ignorance of the very purpose and
objectives of the life you are presently
living.
The Great Truths that
are presented in the parables -- and
especially TheCall to the Wedding
Banquette -- is relevant to all of
mankind regardless of their religion or
lack of religious beliefs. The
parables and their fulfillment deal
universally with the higher realities
and purpose of the lives we are all
presently living in this world.
Therefore, what is
relevant to the believer, is just as
relevant to the unbelievers -- primarily because what is being
presented is a matter and reality of the
Natural Laws of this world and Creation. But
from a Christian perspective, there
exits an even greater looming question
based upon the fact that the Truths
presented in the parable is in direct
opposition to man-made Christian Church
dogma. And this is seen in
the fact that the parable of TheCall possesses
a serious enigma that remains virtually
impossible for the modern believer to
even begin to deal with. The problem: If the
Christians are personified in the
parable as the invited guests, then
it is nearly
impossible for the modern Christian to
correctly interpret the meaning of the
parables as they universally apply to
all of mankind. Why?
Because modern Church doctrine has
absolutely nothing in common with the
original teachings as restored at
http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com
-- which purpose of the Original Gospel
teachings and
objectives of TheWay as revealed by the
historical man Jesus.
Further, because of the infusion of
man-made dogma and the suppression of
ultra-important original teachings, the
Church itself has been rendered
spiritually impotent -- and actually
inhibits the believer's ability to come
to TheCall. Why? Because the dogma and
teachings of the modern Church has
virtually nothing in common with the
original Gospel teachings of Jesus and TheWay.
Yet, each person's success in their
present life, can be gauged by their
response to TheCall, and their place at
what is allegorically portrayed as the Wedding Banquette. The
parables in the Gospels present
Universal Truths that are relevant to
all of mankind -- which means that the
modern Christian must choose between the
Original Gospel Teachings, or the
manmade dogma of the Church -- and it
cannot be both.

Jesus answered and spoke
again in parables to them,
saying, "The Kingdom of
Heaven is like a certain
king, who made a marriage
feast for his son, and sent
out his servants to call
those who were invited to
the marriage feast, but they
would not come. Again he
sent out other servants,
saying, 'Tell those who are
invited, "Behold, I have
prepared my dinner. My
cattle and my fatlings are
killed, and all things are
ready. Come to the marriage
feast!"' But they made light
of it, and went their ways,
one to his own farm, another
to his merchandise, and the
rest grabbed his servants,
and treated them shamefully,
and killed them. When the
king heard that, he was
angry, and sent his armies,
destroyed those murderers,
and burned their city. "Then
he said to his servants,
'The wedding is ready, but
those who were invited
weren't worthy. Go therefore
to the intersections of the
highways, and as many as you
may find, invite to the
marriage feast.' Those
servants went out into the
highways, and gathered
together as many as they
found, both bad and good.
The wedding was filled with
guests. But when the king
came in to see the guests,
he saw there a man who
didn't have on wedding
clothing, and he said to
him, 'Friend, how did you
come in here not wearing
wedding clothing?' He was
speechless. Then the king
said to the servants, 'Bind
him hand and foot, take him
away, and throw him into the
outer darkness; there is
where the weeping and
grinding of teeth will be.'
For many are called, but few
chosen."

English Bible

In our
understanding of the above, it is
imperative to recognize that the parable
of TheCall is universal to all of
mankind -- every man, woman and child
must come to TheCall in order to be
Whole and Complete.
Which means that the reality that is allegorically
portrayed is true with respect to all
nonbelievers and believers of all
religions. Among the many questions
the parable raises is: What is TheCall? How does
a person come to TheCall? In the
parable, who are the invited
guests who did not come? How did
they come to be invited? What
makes the invited guests different than
the uninvited who the parable portrays
as being found in the
"intersections
of the highways" of life?
What is the wedding garment?
How does a person put the wedding
garment on? What is the
"outer
darkness" (of mind and
being) that those who failed to put on
the wedding garment were cast into?
What is the consequence of being cast
into the "outer
darkness" (see
Outer Darkness)? If it
is true that the
"outer darkness" in
TheCall, is a diminished condition of
mind in the Far Country in the parable
of the prodigal son, then it is
important to understand how and why this
mentally and spiritually suppressed
condition of mind is overcome? How does one
escape the
"outer darkness" of the Far
Country? When the king
states:
"those who were invited weren't
worthy" -- what constitutes being
worthy?
What is the fate of the invited
guests who did not come?
Modern Christians can't answere these
important questions, because they have
been alienated from the Gospel teachings
by the dogma of carnal men.
If the
Christians are representative of the
invited guests, in the version found in
the Gospel of Luke it states:
"For I tell
you, none of those men who were invited
shall taste my banquet” --
which provokes the question: How can the Christians be saved by faith
apart from their actions -- making claim
to a guarantee and free gift of salvation the moment
they accept Jesus as their personal Lord
and Savior? Further -- and quite
contrary to Church dogma -- if
non-Christians were those who
had not been called as invited guests --
and the non-Christians were not doomed to
the destruction imposed upon the invited
guests who did not come -- the question
still remains as to what is the fate of
those who were cast into the
"outer
darkness"? What does it
mean:
"For many are called, but few chosen"?
Which, from a Christian doctrinal
perspective the question must be posed: Aren't all those who call upon the name
of the Lord saved?
Paul has
traditionally been called the Apostle of
Faith, because he portrayed the
"works"
of the Law of Moses as having been done
away with. But Paul also
portrays the literal seemingly
(historical) accounts of the Torah and
Old Testament as an allegory -- i.e.,
"For it is
written, that Abraham had two sons, the
one by a bondmaid, the other by a
freewoman. But he who was of the
bondwoman was born after the flesh; but
he of the freewoman was by promise.
Which things are an allegory..."
(Gal 4:22-24); meaning, historically the
alleged events never happened -- which
is why Paul portrayed the scriptures as
"letter that
killeth [and] Jewish folktales"
(see 2 Cor 3:6; Titus 1:14).
What
this means is that if the two sons of
Abraham did not historically exist --
and what is presented in the scriptures
is an allegorical portrayal of mind and
spirit -- then the whole foundation of
the scriptures are an allegorical
portrayal of mind and spirit. As
would be the Law of Moses.
Yet, the great truths that are being
presented to the seeker/believer in the
spiritual meaning of the (allegorical)
scriptures, is of the utmost importance
-- i.e., of far greater value and
importance than the ritual observance of
the allegorical literal text -- much of
which has been drawn from what Paul
portrays as the
"letter that
killeth [and] Jewish folktales".
Which also means that only those who
respond to TheCall -- and begin to put
on the required
"wedding garment" -- are
able to perceive and understand the true
spiritual meaning of the written word of
the scriptures. And
all those who fail to put on the
required "wedding garment", see nothing
more than the
"letter that
killeth [and] Jewish folktales"
when they attempt to read and understand
the scriptures. And sadly,
all the manmade doctrines and dogma of
the Church is based upon the written
text of the scriptures.
The doctrine that a
Christian is saved from the moment they
believe, is said to be drawn from the
theology of Martin Luther who not only
was a proponent of deriving his
understanding solely from the written
text of the scriptures, but he also rejected
over half of the New Testament because
the Gospels and Epistles he rejected
failed to confirm his theology. What does the
Apostle of faith say? To the Roman
Christians he warns:
"Do not be
arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did
not spare the natural branches, he will
not spare you either. Consider
therefore the kindness and sternness of
God: sternness to those who fell, but
kindness to you, provided that you
continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you
also will be cut off" (Rom
11:20-22). What does it mean
"...provided
that you continue in his kindness"?
And if Christians are saved by faith the
moment they say their prayer accepting
Jesus as the personal Lord and Savior,
how can Paul warn them that if they fail
to hold to the original intent and
meaning of the Gospel teachings, that
they
"also will be
cut off"?
What happened? Because
the Christians entered into a covenant
with Pagan Rome -- installing the
emperor who was not even baptized as the
head of the Church -- and in a state of
absolute arrogance, hunted down and
murdered all sincere spiritual
Christians and original
Ebionite
Nazirenes who did not accept the
doctrines of the pagan emperor
of Rome -- even editing and corrupting
the very words of God spoken to mankind
(see
The Corruption
Of The Words Of God
http://BrotherOfJesus.org#CorruptionOfGodsWords
) -- the Church has not only been
"cut off"
-- but the Christians themselves dwell
in a Spiritual Diaspora under the cloud
of abject spiritual ignorance.
The
Problem: The Original
Gospel Teachings Have Nothing In Common With
Modern Church Dogma: The primary
doctrine of the
Church is not drawn from the Original
Gospel teachings of TheWay -- but rather is based upon a
quasi faux-gnostic Manichaean and
Mithraic foundation of teachings which states that all of
mankind are equally tarnished with
Original Sin, and must be redeemed by
Jesus the savior. Yet, Jesus
himself in the Gospels stated just the
opposite in the words:
"They that are
whole have no need of the physician, but
they that are sick: I came not to call
the righteous, but sinners to repentance"
(Mark 2:17). Before this
verse can be understood we must first
understand what it means to be
Whole.
Which provokes the question: How is
Wholeness
achieved? Contrary to the
Church dogma, if Jesus is the physician,
then those who achieve and sustain a
condition of
Wholeness, do not need the
physician -- and as a physician, Jesus
did not come for the salvation of those
who are Whole,
but only those who are sick and need the
physician. But in to all
opposition to Church dogma, what this
also means is that at the time of Jesus,
there existed people who he portrays as
"whole [and]
righteous" who did not need
Jesus the physician.
One of the many scriptural verses
that appears to be contrary to the
foregoing is at John 9:32-34 where it
was stated of the man who was born
blind: "Never
before has anyone heard of opening the
eyes of a man born blind. If this
man were not from God, He could not do
anything like this. They replied,
You were born in
utter sin,
and you are instructing us? And they
threw him out".
The problem is that while the verse
supports the philosophy that a person
can be born in sin, the verse does not
in any manner state that all men are born in sin -- only
those born with hardship and infirmities
-- and in this case, the reference is
being made to the man who was
born blind. Contrary to the
Augustinian doctrine of Original Sin,
the Pharisees who threw the man out ("And
they threw him out"),
did not believe that they were born in
sin -- which they saw as the cause of
the man's blindness from birth.
Therefore, the question must be posed:
Were the Pharisees correct that some men
were born in sin? While others
were not? The problem is
that to correctly answer these
questions, there is a missing dimension
to the doctrines of the Church that has
created this seemingly unanswerable
enigma. And when this
important teaching was removed and
suppressed by the Church, it made the
Gospels virtually impossible to
understand the original meaning.
Further, the doctrine of Original Sin
had to be imported from the Mithraic
based teachings of the Iranian prophet
Mani, in order to explain and fill the
great void that the Church suppression
of important teachings created.
Thereby creating a pagan foundation to
the Church that rendered Christianity
spiritually impotent.
As I will
prove in the below, the original
followers and disciples of Jesus who
walked and talked with him daily did not
believe he was God incarnate.
As the first of the prodigal sons to
return to the Edenic Kingdom of
Origination, Jesus taught them that he
was a man -- just as all other men --
and as a true holy man who fulfilled the
Law within himself, had become At-One
with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God.
And he taught that all men and women who
become Whole and Complete, are able to
do and accomplish all that he did.
Therefore, if, as Jesus said that all
who
"...are whole
have no need of the physician"
-- and the historical man Jesus himself
emerged out of humanity as the first of
the prodigal sons to fully escape this
world and return to our Source in the
Edenic Kingdom -- then it must be recognized that modern Christianity has virtually
nothing in common with the Original
Gospel teachings of TheWay.
The doctrinal foundation of modern
Christianity is built upon the gravely
flawed construct of what has been
portrayed as quasi faux-gnostic
teachings based upon Manichaean and
Mithraic dogma.
Before his
conversion, St Augustine who is the
author of the doctrine of Original Sin,
drew upon his Manichaean background, and
the faux-gnostic concepts that were the
bedrock of his doctrine as presented in
the
Widipedia:
"Manichaeism was a major religious
movement that was founded by the Iranian
prophet Mani in the Sasanian Empire.
Manichaeism taught
an elaborate
dualistic
cosmology
describing the
struggle
between a
good,
spiritual world of light, and an
evil,
material world of darkness. Through an
ongoing process which takes place in
human history, light is gradually
removed from the world of matter and
returned to the world of light, whence
it came. Its beliefs were based on local
Mesopotamian
gnostic
and religious movements."
The
Foundational Paradigm of Failure is
erected upon the doctrine of Original
Sin and all the similar doctrines which
have their existence within the domain
of a savior who must be sacrificed for
the salvation of a fallen mankind.
While modern believers cling to the
dogma of the doctrine of Original Sin
which was hatched by St. Augustine, and
fully embraced by Martin Luther, Calvin
and other Protestant leaders of the
Reformation, it
is the faith-based believers own
spiritual immaturity that causes them to
cling to such preposterous and carnal
ideas about God. There is in
fact a totally different explanation of
the words
"...light is
gradually removed from the world of
matter and returned to the world of
light, whence it came"
-- which explanation and understanding
is totally absent from Augustine's
theology of Original Sin.
But both Manichaeanism and Mithraism
were what can be portrayed as ancient
Mystery Religions that only revealed the
meaning of their doctrines and teachings
to initiates within the system.
What was
the source of the doctrine of Original
Sin? Quoting from T.W. Doane, Bible
Myths and their Parallels in other
Religions, 7th ed., 1910, p.194-5:
"The Persians believed that they were
tainted with original sin, owing to the
fall of their first parents who were
tempted by the evil one in the form of a
serpent" [194:12].
Quoting from the
Wikipedia article:
"The Romans
attributed their Mithraic mysteries (the
mystery religion known as Mithraism) to
Persian or Zoroastrian sources relating
to Mithra." With respect to
Manichaeanism, the same article states:
"It was among
the Parthian Manicheans that Mithra as a
Sun God surpassed the importance of
Narisaf as the common Iranian image of
the Third Messenger; among the Parthians
the dominance of Mithra was such that
his identification with the Third
Messenger led to cultic emphasis on the
Mithraic traits in the Manichaean God."
Quoting from
The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors,
by Kersey Graves who writes with respect
to those who believed in Mithra:
"They observed
all the Christian sacraments, even to
the laying on of hands in the
confirmation." (211.) And the Christian Tertullian also tells us that "The
priests of Mithra promised absolution
from sin on confession and baptism,"
while another author adds, that "on such
occasions Mithra marked his followers
(the servants of God) in their
foreheads," and that "he celebrated the
sacrifice of bread, which is the
resurrection."
St.
Augustine, one of the most important
figures in the history of the Roman
Church, was a Manichaean before
converting to Christianity. Why did he
convert? It is important to note that
Augustine's conversion came after the
threat of death -- i.e., quoting the
Wikipedia:
"Augustine of Hippo (354–430) converted
to Christianity from Manichaeism, in the
year 387. This was shortly after the
Roman Emperor Theodosius I had issued a
decree of death for all Manichaean monks
in 382 and shortly before he declared
Christianity to be the only legitimate
religion for the Roman Empire in 391."
So, in the same way that the Emperor
Constantine hunted down the Ebionite
Nazirenes and Spiritual Christians as
heretics in the year 325, Theodosius
hunted down the Manichaeans in the year
382. And it was shortly after the
decree of death by the emperor, that
Augustine converted to Christianity.
Further, it is therefore important to
point out that Manichaean teachings were
based upon a form of Gentile-Gnosticism
-- and this form of Gnostic teachings
which rejects the Original Gospel
Teachings, has totally undermined the
modern Church. With respect to the
Manichaeism of St. Augustine the
Wikipedia states:
"Manichaeism
taught an elaborate dualistic cosmology
describing the struggle between a good,
spiritual world of light, and an evil,
material world of darkness. Through an
ongoing process which takes place in
human history, light is gradually
removed from the world of matter and
returned to the world of light, whence
it came. Its beliefs were based on local
Mesopotamian gnostic and religious
movements".
Thus, when rightly understood, these
Mesopotamian teachings which have been
classified as Gnostic have totally
undermined the original spiritual
foundation of the Church. And with
respect to the label Gnostic: It should
be noted that the Roman Church labeled
virtually every theological position
contrary to their own as Gnostic
heresy. To the degree that the word
itself and what it represents has been
totally misrepresented by man's
countless opinions that have no basis in
actual fact.
Was
the teachings of the Iranian prophet
Mani which both
Manichean and Mithraic Dualism was based
upon, also served as
the Foundation of the Doctrine of
Original Sin that was championed by St.
Augustine was based truly Gnosticism? It
must be acknowledged that there are what
must be understood as quasi faux-Gnostic
and various Mystery religions that have
attempted to portray the physical as
evil, and only spirit as good. And
while they may call themselves Gnostic,
they are not -- they are merely a
different variety of the way of the monk
(see
http://SoulSelf.org#monk ). Before
his conversion, St Augustine who is the
author of the doctrine of Original Sin
(see The Folly Of Original Sin:
http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#OriginalSin
), wherein he drew from his Manichaean
background the faux-gnostic concepts
that were the bedrock of his doctrine as
presented above in the
Widipedia article. While it is
true that Duality exists -- all evil is
in the Separation of the Opposite
Male/Female or Positive/Negative or
Active/Reflective Polarities of Creation. Which
means that the only evil in the
"material
world" is in its separation
from its spiritual opposite -- and when
rightly understood, all Duality is in
fact the very Foundation of the Trinity
and the Divine Pattern of Creation --
and in view of the fact that the
Third-Force Balance of the Trinity is
the Reality of Mind, it must be
recognized as anti-Gnostic to promote
the belief that this world which is
Feminine/Reflective, must be suppressed
and negated. Further, the Mind and the
acquisition of the Divine Manna of the
Kingdom (Gnosis) can only be achieved by
embracing the reality of Wholeness as
personified in saying 22 of the
Gospel of Thomas:
"Jesus replied,
'When you make the
two one, and when you make the inside
like the outside and the outside like
the inside, and the above like the
below, and when you make the male and
the female one and the same, so that the
male not be male nor the female female;
...then will you enter the kingdom'"
-- and thus, each prodigal son or
daughter must overcome all Duality by
merging and marrying the opposites
within the mind of the
seeker/disciple. Which means
that the Augustinian doctrine of
Original Sin is against -- and in
opposition -- to the purpose and objective
of the Original Gospel Teachings.
That the foregoing teaching which is
contained in the Gospel of Thomas was
important to the first century followers
of Jesus, is demonstrate in The Second
Epistle of Clement where the above
ultra-important teaching that was
removed from the Gospels modern
Christians use, is quoted as stating:
“Let us expect,
therefore, hour by hour, the kingdom of
God in love and righteousness, since we
know not the day of the appearing of
God. For the Lord Himself, being asked
by one when His kingdom would come,
replied, 'When two shall be one, that
which is without as that which is
within, and the male with the female,
neither male nor female’”.
What Clement is stating in accord with
the Original teachings is that when the
seeker/believer brings this condition
about within their own Mind and Being,
that the predicted and expected Kingdom
will come within them as promised -- as
stated in Jesus' teachings on the Key of
Knowledge (see
The Third Fatal Mistake - Not Proving
The Truth).
It is
important to recognize that when Clement
wrote the above in his Epistle to a
congregation of first-century
Christians, he did so in the expectation
that they would understand the great
truths he was presenting. That the
Kingdom or End Times would, and could,
only come when
"...two shall
be one, that which is without as that
which is within, and the male with the
female, neither male nor female’”.
And the fact that this statement that is
in the Gospel of Thomas and was
contained in a first century Epistle
from the man known as the disciple and
constant companion of the Apostle Peter
-- written by an elder to a congregation
of believers in that first century
time-frame, could not be contained and
understood in a letter or epistle to a
congregation today, is merely one
example of the fact that the dogma and
thinking of the modern Church has
virtually nothing in common with the
original teachings of Jesus known as
TheWay. Which means that the thinking
and mindset of the first century
Christian who understood the (inner)
reality of what is presented in this
important teaching, has absolutely
nothing in common with the thinking and
mindset of the modern faith-based
believers who call themselves
Christians. Which provokes
the question: Has the requirements to
enter the Kingdom changed in order to
accommodate the dogmatic corruption of
the Church? Has Truth and Higher
Spiritual Reality been discarded and
thrown away, because the Church threw
away and suppressed this body of
essential Knowledge pertaining to the
Coming of the Kingdom away? Or, does
modern Christians dwell in a
self-imposed Diaspora of abject
Spiritual Ignorance which was brought
about by the massive corruption of the
scriptures (see
BibleCorruption.com ), and the
suppression of the body of essential
knowledge that is necessary to restore
the lost prodigal son to his rightly
place in the Edenic Kingdom of
Origination.
If the
Truth that sets one free can only be
embraced when the believer opens the
"narrow gate"
within themselves to escape
this, the Far Country, and return to the
Edenic Kingdom within us -- i.e.,
"As Jesus spoke
these things, many believed in Him. So
He said to the Jews who had believed
Him, “If you continue in My word, you
are truly My disciples. Then you will
know the truth, and the truth will set
you free" (John 8:30-32) --
then the modern dogma of the Church has
become so corrupted, that it remains
spiritually worthless to bring about its
purported salvation by faith alone.
Quoting the prayer Christians recite
based upon the quasi faux-gnostic
teachings of the Iranian prophet Mani
and the Manichaean and Mithraic dogma of
the doctrine of Original Sin of St.
Augustine and embraced by Martin Luther,
which has come to be the foundation of
modern Church dogma:
"You must
believe in salvation by grace alone, and
that salvation is immediate and eternal
upon acceptance of Jesus as a one-time
sacrifice for your sins, and not
obtained through works, sacraments,
traditions or merits of our own".
The teaching that this is
"...a one-time
sacrifice for your sins, and not
obtained through works, sacraments,
traditions or merits of our own" --
means that no other actions or
requirements are necessary for the
believer who repeats the prayer.
Yet, as the
collection of more ancient scriptures
are recovered through archaeological
discoveries, they continue to
demonstrate the existence of an entirely
different Christianity that is totally
foreign to the Church that enlists under
the name of Christ today. In fact,
even with the documentation long
possessed by the church today, it is
easy to literally pull the proverbial
rug right out from under the very
foundation of modern Christian thought.
In a surviving excerpts of what has been
historically known as the Gospel
According to the Hebrews, which was
reported to be the
"original version
of Matthew"
that was composed
in the Hebrew language, of which our
present day gospel is a Greek
translation of, it was written:
"If ye be in my
bosom and do not the will of my Father
which is in heaven, out of my bosom will
I cast you away".
In the late nineteenth century a library
of scriptures was uncovered which is
today known as the Oxyrhynchus Papyri
-- wherein this verse is found reading:
"Though
ye be gathered together with me in my
bosom, if ye do not my commandants, I
will cast you forth".
And to the horror of modern Christians
who reject the Gospel of the Nazirenes
(see
Gospel Of The Nazirenes)
and all its strange readings, we once
again find this same verse: And I say to
you,
"Though you be gathered together in
my bosom, if you keep not my
commandments I will cast you forth. For
if you keep not the lesser mysteries,
who shall give you the greater."
This same verse of scripture is quoted
in what is historically known as the 2nd
Epistle of Clement, where it is written
to first-century Christian believers:
"Let us,
then, not only call Him Lord, for that
will not save us. For He saith, 'Not
every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord,
shall be saved, but he that worketh
righteousness' …For this reason… the
Lord hath said, 'Even though ye were
gathered together to me in my very
bosom, yet if ye were not to keep my
commandments, I would cast you off, and
say unto you, Depart from me; I know you
not whence ye are, ye workers of
iniquity’".
The problem is that this original
teaching has absolutely nothing in
common with the prayer that Christians
recite accepting Jesus as their savior:
"...that
salvation is immediate and eternal upon
acceptance of Jesus as a one-time
sacrifice for your sins, and not
obtained through works, sacraments,
traditions or merits of our own".
And it is clear that the first-century
Christians whose mindset and thinking
was not based upon the teachings of Mani
and the Manichaean and Mithraic dogma of
the doctrine of Original Sin, had nothing
in common with the man-made dogma that
has alienated the modern Christians from
the Core Gospel Teachings. Thus,
the Gospel teaching that
"'Even though ye
were gathered together to me in my very
bosom, yet if ye were not to keep my
commandments, I would cast you off, and
say unto you, Depart from me; I know you
not whence ye are, ye workers of
iniquity’"
has absolutely nothing in common with
what the modern Christian has been
seduced into believing.
To
what degree the Church had fallen under
the control of blind carnal men can
perhaps best be envisioned in the words
of Hilary, Bishop of Poitiers, when he
wrote: “It is a
thing equally deplorable and dangerous,
that there are as many creeds as
opinions among men, as many doctrines as
inclinations, and as many sources of
blasphemy as there are faults among us;
because we make creeds arbitrarily, and
explain them as arbitrarily. The
Homoousion is rejected, and received,
and explained away by successive synods.
The partial or total resemblance of the
Father and of the Son is a subject of
dispute for these unhappy times. Every
year, nay, every moon, we make new
creeds to describe invisible mysteries.
We repent of what we have done, we
defend those who repent, we anathematize
those who we defended. We condemn either
the doctrine of others in ourselves, or
our own in that of others; and,
reciprocally tearing one another to
pieces, we have been the cause of each
other's ruin” (Quoted by E.
Gibbon; The Decline and Fall of the
Roman Empire). The
"Homoousion"
is of course the doctrine of the Trinity
that declares that Jesus was God
incarnate. Led by religious
politicians, the Christian world became
immersed in a sea of manmade doctrines
-- doctrines that attempted to explain
spiritual concepts that was beyond their
ability to comprehend. The doctrine
that Augustine brought into Christianity
which was drawn from a Mesopotamian
religious sect that had virtually
nothing in common with the original
Gospel teachings -- which was later
embraced by the framers of the
Reformation, Martin Luther and John
Calvin -- has totally undermined the
foundation of the whole of the modern
Christian Church. Thereby exiling
faith-based believers in a self-imposed
spiritual Diaspora that has totally
alienated them from the Original Core
Gospel Teachings and Objectives.
While Augustine after his conversion and
with the threat of death appeared to
have vehemently
opposed the Manichaean views of God, his
teachings on original sin were directly
drawn from what he had learned and
embraced in Manichaeism. In answer to
the question does the Bible support
Original Sin? And the question:
Does Judaism Believe In Original Sin?
The answer is stated in the foregoing
article: "The
term 'original sin' is unknown to the
Jewish Scriptures, and the Church’s
teachings on this doctrine are
antithetical to the core principles of
the Torah and its prophets."
The
Wikipedia further adds:
"The doctrine
of 'inherited sin' is not found in most
of mainstream Judaism. Although some in
Orthodox Judaism place blame on Adam for
overall corruption of the world...".
But what does this mean?
In the
allegorical account of Genesis (see
The Allegorical Fall of Man), Adam
is not a person -- the word Adam simply
means man -- and like the parable of the
prodigal son, is representative of the
universal pattern and reality of all of
mankind. The idea of what is presented
in the written text as the sin of Adam,
is what is portrayed allegorically --
but as will be demonstrated in the
foregoing link on the Allegorical Fall of
Man, the Fall was forced upon all souls
as stated at Rom 8:19-22. And this
Fall was brought about (1) because of the
lack of experiential knowledge; (2)
instituted by the Laws of Creation for
the good of all of mankind.
Based upon
the theology of Martin Luther who in the
creation of his doctrine of faith apart
from actions, rejected over half of the
New Testament -- modern Christians maintain
that they are saved by faith totally
apart from their actions and works --
claiming that their salvation is guaranteed from
the moment they accept Jesus as their
personal Lord and Savior. But is this
the original teachings of Jesus?
When Martin Luther created his doctrine
of salvation by faith alone, Luther
rejected the teaching of Paul that:
"For it is
impossible to restore again to
repentance those who ...then commit
apostasy, since they crucify the Son of
God on their own account and hold him up
to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately
after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a
sacrifice for sins, but a fearful
prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire
which will consume the adversaries."
(Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).
If a believer who comes to the knowledge
of the Gospel sins -- and this sin
revokes any sacrifice for his sin --
then Paul's position totally refutes
both the theology of Martin Luther and
the doctrines of the modern Church that
salvation is guaranteed from the moment
they accept Jesus as their personal Lord
and Savior. Further,
Martin Luther rejected the Epistle of
James which made the case for
"faith apart
from actions is dead" --
calling the Epistle authored by the
first leader of the New Covenant Church
and brother of Jesus an
"epistle of
straw". And in
the same way, Luther rejected the Gospels
of Matthew, Mark and Luke because the
teachings and message of these primary
Gospels did not agree with his theology.
Yet, with
respect to the dogma of instant
and immediate salvation authored by Luther, Jesus warned:
"Not everyone
who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall
enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who
does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in Your
name, cast out demons in Your name, and
done many wonders in Your name?' And
then I will declare to them, 'I never
knew you; depart from Me, you who
practice lawlessness!'" (Matt
7:21-23 NKJ). In Luther's
defense, he had no idea that the most spiritually important
Original Teachings had been removed from
the Gospels, and these teachings were
then suppressed by the Roman Church.
Do these words
apply to the modern Christian where it
proclaims: "You
hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly
about you: ‘These people honor Me with
their lips, but their hearts are far
from Me. They worship Me in vain; they
teach as doctrine the precepts of men’”
(Matt 15:7-9).
"And why call
ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things
which I say?" (Luke 6:46 KJV).
And this is why Jesus warned those who
would call themselves his followers and
believers: “And
he who does not take his cross and
follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He
who finds his life will lose it, and he
who loses his life for My sake will find
it” (Matt 10:38-39 NKJ).
The requirement that has been set forth
is that “ye
shall therefore be holy, for I am holy”
(Lev 11:45 KJV). In the words of
Gregory, Bishop of Nyssa:
“…it is
imperative on all those who have an
equally earnest desire for the Good as
He has, to be followers by the path of
an exact imitation of Him Who leads the
way to salvation, and to carry into
action what He has shown them. It is, in
fact impossible for persons to reach the
same goal unless they travel by the same
ways”. And this is why the
requirement was set forth by Jesus with
respect to his disciples and followers:
“You,
therefore, must be perfect, as your
heavenly Father is perfect”
(Matt 5:48 RSV).
When Martin Luther promoted his
doctrine of faith apart from actions by
rejecting over half of the New
Testament, the only scripture that was
acceptable to him was the Gospel of
John. But in light of the more
recent discovery of both the Dead Sea
Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Library of
pre-Nicene
Christian scriptures, even his
understanding of the Gospel of John is
questionable. In his book, The Dead Sea Scrolls and the
Origins of Christianity,
Dead Sea
Scroll expert Prof. John Allegro writes:
“It is a fact
that the Qumran Library has profoundly
affected the study of the Johannine
writings and many longheld conceptions
have had to be radically revised. No
longer can John be regarded as the most
Hellenistic of the Evangelists; his
gnosticism, and the whole framework of
his thought is seen now to spring
directly from a Jewish sectarianism
rooted in palestinian soil, and his
material recognized as founded in the
earliest layers of Gospel traditions.”
What is being stated is that
with the discovery of the Dead Sea
Scrolls the Gospel of John is no longer
viewed as being Hellenistic or
Greek-influence, and very much has
sprang from the very Gnostic Essenes.
Once this connection was made through
the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls,
it is imperative to recognize that Gnostics do not write historical
accounts -- but rather, compose
allegorical writings that conceal the
true inner meaning from those who are
not initiates of the sect.
In order to
begin to understand why the theology of
Martin Luther was profoundly in error --
especially in view of the fact that he
based his doctrines on a Gospel that has
sprang from a very mystical Essene-Gnostic
Foundation -- the question must be
posed: What is the
meaning of the word mysticism? Briefly,
mysticism is descriptive of the ability
of man to look beyond the limitations of
the five senses in order to gain a
better understanding of life, God and
Creation. The whole concept of
mysticism is rejected by the
institutionalized thinking of the Church
who rejects the existence of anything
beyond the perception of the five
senses. The word Gnostic, as used by
Prof. Allegro, is the Greek word used to
describe the acquisition of knowledge
gained through the mystical process of
man's inner and direct connection with
God. While Christians today embrace
the doctrine of faith that was defined
by Martin Luther, the flaw in their many
perceptions is seen in their inability to
understand that the doctrine of faith
was based upon the foundation of
mysticism that was laid by the Apostle
Paul when he wrote:
“But the
natural man does not receive the things
of the Spirit of God, for they are
foolishness to him; nor can he know
them, because they are spiritually
discerned” (1 Cor 2:14 NKJ).
And the very essence of all genuine
religious movements are
"foolishness"
to the mind of the untransformed organic
man, because the essence of the
spiritual movement is based and founded
upon those realities that are beyond the
vision and scope of the man's physical
senses -- i.e.,
"while
we do not look at the things which are
seen, but at the things which are not
seen. For the things which are seen are
temporary, but the things which are not
seen are eternal" (2 Cor 4:18
NKJ).
Paul portrayed
the baptized and committed Christians
who he personally taught as still being
of an
"animal-soul" level of
consciousness who were incapable of
receiving the Higher Sacred Knowledge --
a.k.a., Divine Manna or Gnosis. And
this reality is expressed in the meaning
of the Greek text of Paul's First
Epistle to the Corinthians (2:14) where
Paul states that the
"natural"
organic man cannot comprehend the higher
reality of the Soul and the Mysteries of
the Kingdom. Which profound statement
provokes the question: What is meant by
the term that Paul used when he
described the very people who he had
himself taught who were incapable of
comprehending the higher reality of the
soul and the Mysteries of the Kingdom
when he portrayed them as being of a
"natural"
organic level of mind and
consciousness? The Jamieson-Fausset-Brown
Bible Commentary writes with respect to
the meaning of the word in the original
Greek language:
"natural
man—literally, 'a man of animal soul'."
Further, the Treasury Of Scriptural
Knowledge states of this ignored and
profound statement at 1 Cor 2:14 which
reads (quoting Paul): "But
the natural man receives not the things
of the Spirit of God: for they are
foolishness to him: neither can he know
them, because they are spiritually
discerned" -- wherein the
proper interpretative-meaning of Paul's
words with respect to the reality of
what is portrayed by Paul as the natural
man is then presented:
[Psuchikos,] the animal man, one who
lives in a natural state, and under the
influence of his animal passions; for [psuche]
means the inferior and sensual part of
man, in opposition to the [nous]
understanding, or [pneuma,] the spirit.
And this is not only true -- but it is a
fact of life that all mystics and
enlightened souls must deal with when
interacting with organic man. Which is
exactly why Paul profoundly stated to
the very people who he had personally
taught the Gospel message:
"And I,
brethren, could not speak to you as to
spiritual people but as to carnal, as to
babes in Christ. I fed you with milk
and not with solid food; for until now
you were not able to receive it, and
even now you are still not able; for you
are still carnal" (1 Cor
3:1-3 NKJ). Stating to the body of
confirmed and baptized believers who he
acknowledged had received all truth and
knowledge pertaining to the elementary
"traditions"
of Christ: “But
the natural man does not receive the
things of the Spirit of God, for they
are
foolishness
to him; nor can he know them, because
they are
spiritually discerned”
(1 Cor 2:14 NKJ).
An important insight into the very
essence, purpose and higher spiritual
objectives of the Original Teachings of
TheWay is contained in an article in the
Encyclopedia Britannica under the
heading, The History of Christian
Mysticism, where it reads:
“Although the
essence of mysticism is the sense of
contact with the transcendent, mysticism
in the history of Christianity should
not be understood merely in terms of
special ecstatic experiences but as part
of a religious process lived out within
the context of the Christian community.
From this perspective mysticism played a
vital part in the early church. Early
Christianity was a religion of the
spirit that expressed itself in the
heightening and enlargement of human
consciousness”. What
is expressed in these words is of the
utmost importance. Why? Because the
original teachings of Jesus was not the
blind faith and belief in a prophet or
god-man -- but rather, the means to
transform all Christian disciples of
TheWay into prophets and mystics as
demonstrated in the words:
"...From this
perspective mysticism played a vital
part in the early church. Early
Christianity was a religion of the
spirit that expressed itself in the
heightening and enlargement of human
consciousness”. But, we
must then pose the question: Just what
is a
"...religion of the spirit"?
Like an astronaut who travels
beyond the limits of the earth's
atmosphere into outer space, a spiritual
religion prepares the seeker/disciple to
transcend the barrier of this physical
world, and enter into what the biblical
authors portrayed as the Kingdom of God
which Jesus taught was within us. But
to accomplish this spiritual
transcendence, you had to first prepare
the physical body to make it an
environment that would permit
"...the
heightening and enlargement of human
consciousness” to be brought
about -- and this requires a great
amount of effort and
preparation. Which reality created a
great divide among the Christians from
the second century onward -- i.e., there
was the Christians who called themselves
Orthodox who were Fundamentalists who
believed in a god-man; and there were
the Spiritual Christians who embraced
the Transformative Power of the Gospel
Teachings, and through the process of
"...the
heightening and enlargement of human
consciousness”, became
Anointed and received the Sacred
Knowledge or Divine Manna of the Kingdom
which can only be conveyed to those
whose mind are prepared to receive this
Higher Knowledge. A Higher
Knowledge which Paul warned the
faith-based Christians could not receive
because they were spiritually immature,
and of an
"animal-soul" level of
consciousness (see
Organic Man Ruled Over By His Lower
Animal Nature
http://SoulSelf.org#AnimalNature ).

The Essenes &
Dead Sea Scrolls:
How much does the modern Church have in
common with the original teachings? Perhaps this can be
gauged by a recent interview with Pastor
Brian McLaren
who made the rather profound statement:
"One of the
problems is that the average Christian
in the average church who listens to the
average Christian broadcasting has such
an oversimplified understanding of both
the Bible and of church history - it
would be deeply disturbing for them to
really learn about church history." And truth
be told, it can easily be demonstrated
that the core purpose and objectives of
the original Gospel teachings are so
radically different than what is
preached from our pulpits today, that
the Gospel of the first century would be
condemned as heresy if it was presented
to a modern congregation of believers.
And while
the congregation of believers have been
largely kept in the dark, the biblical
scholars understood this fact – and this
is demonstrated in the words of A.
Powell Davies:
“Biblical scholars were not disturbed by
what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls
because they had known all along that
the origin of Christianity was not what
was commonly supposed to have been”
(quoted by Millar Burrows in More
Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls).
Worse yet, Edmund Wilson, an expert who
worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls further
raised the question as to what
difference it makes if
“Jesus... had been trained in the
discipline and imbued with the thought
of a certain Jewish sect, and that he
had learned from it the role that he
afterwards lived...” (The
Scrolls From The Dead Sea). To the
uninformed and unknowing believer, it
made all the difference in the world!
And when
Prof. John Allegro was
quoted as saying that what has been
revealed in the discovery of the Dead
Sea Scrolls is a great amount of
overwhelming evidence that
“...may
upset a great many basic teachings of
the Christian Church.
This in turn would greatly upset
many Christian Theologians and
believers. The
heart of the matter is, in fact, the
source and originality of Christian
doctrine”
(August 1966 issue of Harpers
Magazine). What all the
many recent archaeological discoveries
have confirmed and demonstrated is that
Prof. Allegro was correct in his
assertion that our modern-day
understanding of “the
source and originality of Christian
doctrine” is defective.
Why? Because neither the original
teachings or the corrupted scriptures
simply does not support the tenets and
structure of an organized dogmatic
church as we have today. In the words
of Prof. Elaine Pagles, in her book, The
Gnostic Gospels:
“It is the winners who write history
- their way. No wonder, then, that the
viewpoint of the successful majority has
dominated all traditional accounts of
the origin of Christianity… It suggests
that these religious debates - questions
of the nature of God, or of Christ -
simultaneously bear social and political
implications that are crucial to the
development of Christianity as an
institutional religion. In simplest
terms, ideas which bear implications
contrary to that development come to be
labeled as heresy; ideas which
implicitly support it become orthodox”. |

The Ebionite
Nazirenes:
If biblical scholar Edmund
Wilson is correct, and it is
true that Jesus
"...had
been trained in the discipline and
imbued with the thought of a certain
Jewish sect, and that he had learned
from it the role that he afterwards
lived...”
-- and it was the living out of this
role that he became the Anointed
(Messiah/Christ) as stated in the
original Gospels prior to being
corrupted by the fourth century Church
(see
TheTenWords.com ) when the voice of
God said to mankind when Jesus was
baptized in the Jordan River:
"Thou art my Son, this day have I
begotten thee" -- what
the original Gospels therefore stated
was that Jesus was a holy man who became the Anointed
(Messiah/Christ) at
his baptism in the Jordan.
That the
Ebionites who were condemned by the later Roman Church who created the
Jesus-god myth, were correct -- and that the vast majority of Gentiles were too heathen to
comprehend the teachings of Jesus and TheWay -- is a reality that the Dead Sea
Scrolls have confirmed. Thus, the Encyclopedia
Britannica writes:
"Most
of the features of Ebionite doctrine were anticipated in the teachings of
the earlier Qumran sect, as revealed in the Dead Sea Scrolls. They
believed in one God and taught that Jesus was the Messiah and was the true
'prophet' mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:15. They rejected the Virgin Birth of
Jesus, instead holding that he was the natural son of Joseph and Mary. The
Ebionites believed Jesus became the Messiah because he obeyed the Jewish
Law. They themselves faithfully followed the Law, although they removed what
they regarded as interpolations in order to uphold their teachings, which
included vegetarianism, holy poverty, ritual ablutions, and the rejection of
animal sacrifices. The Ebionites also held Jerusalem in great veneration." Did the mother of Jesus who was
herself a member of the Ebionites,
not know of the virgin birth?
Or, does the allegory of the
Virgin Birth which portrays a
Spiritual Birth, present an
important teaching that the
Church is totally ignorant of
today?
Unlike the
uninformed body of modern believers who
blindly adhere to the dogma of
pagan Rome, the
biblical experts who had long studied
the core documents and historical
writings were well aware of the
fact that the position of the original
followers of Jesus who walked and talked
with him daily -- followers and
believers who personally knew him -- that he
(Jesus)
"...was justified
by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ
of God, since not one of the rest of
mankind had observed the Law completely.
Had any one else fulfilled the
commandments of the Law, he would have
been the Christ,
for they assert that our Lord Himself
was a man in like sense with all
humanity" (see
Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer.
vii. 34). Which provokes the
question: How did Jesus become
the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by
fulfilling the Law?
Quoting from
Animal
Sacrifice And The Living Temple
http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#AnimalTemple:
When
the original Ebionite Nazirene
disciples and followers of Jesus
expressed the need to fulfill
the Law, it was not the literal
allegorical text of the Torah
which is observed in outward
ritual and tradition in the
manner of the Jews that was
being made reference to -- but
rather, the Universal Law of
Mind and Spirit that is
allegorically presented and
functioning within each and
every one of us. Therefore,
when the Ebionite Nazirene were
portrayed as being Torah
Observant, the Law was therefore
observed in the exact manner
that Jesus said was necessary --
i.e.,
"The Spirit gives life; the
flesh counts for nothing. The
words I have spoken to you--they
are full of the Spirit and life"
(John 6:63). The
early Church writer
Epiphanius wrote that the
Ebionites
"do not
accept Moses' Pentateuch in its
entirety; certain sayings they
reject... stating Christ has
revealed this to me, and will
blaspheme most of the
legislation"
(Panarion 30.18.7-9).
For them to be accused of
"blaspheming most of the
legislation", means
that they did not at all observe
the Torah outwardly in
accordance with the letter of
the written word in the manner
of the Jews -- but rather, they
understood the allegorical
symbolism that was applicable to
unlocking the inner door to the
Kingdom.
Therefore,
the Ebionites were use the
scriptures as Jesus taught as
the Key of Knowledge (
http://KeyOfKnowledge.org )
by turning the scriptures within
their own mind and being in the
transformation of the body into
the Living Consecrated Temple of
the Most High. And this is
why Jesus commanded his
disciples to pick up their own
cross and travail in TheWay --
following in his footsteps.
That the historical man Jesus was a
pattern for all of mankind because of
his success in overcoming and fulfilling
the Laws within himself, is
demonstrated in the words:
"He was the Christ
of God, since not one of the rest of
mankind had observed the Law completely.
Had any one else fulfilled the
commandments of the Law, he would have
been the Christ..." And
this confirms this statement with
respect to the true potential of all of
mankind that Jesus taught, as
demonstrated in the words of Hippolytus
when he wrote that this body of original
core followers and disciple believed that
when anyone
"...thus fulfill the law, they are able
to become Christs" (Hippolytus,
Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see
http://Ebionite.com ). Which
means that what Jesus accomplished, is
in fact the eventual destiny of all of
mankind who are portrayed as the lost
prodigal sons and daughters of their
Heavenly Father. And this is
why Jesus taught that he was our brother
-- i.e., "Go
instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I
am returning to my Father and your
Father, to my God and your God'"
(John 20:17 NIV). That
the historical Jesus was a true holy man
who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ
by fulfilling the Royal Law within
himself, is attested to at Acts 2:22
where Jesus is portrayed as
"a man,
attested to you by God" --
and this was demonstrated by God
performing
"mighty works and wonders and signs that
God did through him in your midst".
If Jesus was himself God incarnate as
believed by the later Romans, then these
words portraying Jesus as a man approved
by God through the works and wonders
that God did through him, never would
have been presented in this manner.
It was the
living of the necessary Consecrated Life
that Jesus ordained, and the seeking of
the Kingdom within, that enabled the
historical Jesus to become the Messiah,
and At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son
of God -- a path and teachings that the
modern Church totally rejects based upon
the doctrine of faith apart from one's
actions which was instituted by Martin
Luther. And the reality that Jesus, the
man, became the Anointed, and At-One with
the Indwelling Logos/Son of God, is
especially demonstrated in the words of
Edward Gibbon with respect to the
original position of the Ebionite
Nazirene disciples of Jesus that he was
in
“...supernatural union of a man and
God... In their eyes, Jesus of Nazareth
was a mere mortal, the legitimate son of
Joseph and Mary: but he was the best and
wisest of the human race, selected as
the worthy instrument to restore upon
earth the worship of the true and
supreme Deity. When he was baptized in
the Jordan, the Christ, the first of the
aeons, the Son of God himself, descended
on Jesus in the form of a dove, to
inhabit his mind, and direct his actions
during the allotted period of his
ministry” (Gibbon; The
Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, V.4,
P.366).
It must
be noted
that the
mother
and
family
of Jesus
were all
Ebionites
-- as
was his
brother
Jacob
who they
call
James,
and was
the
leader
of the
Ebionite
Community.
In the
Decline
and Fall
of the
Roman
Empire,
Gibbon
notes
that the
teachings
of Jesus
was
“…embraced
by great
numbers
of the
Therapeutae,
or
Essinians…”,
and
wrote
that:
“Le
Clerc (Hist.
Ecclesiast
p. 477,
535)
seems to
have
collected
from
Eusebius,
Jerome,
Epiphanius,
and
other
writers,
all the
principle
circumstances
that
relate
to the
Nazarenes
or
Ebionites.
The
nature
of their
opinions
soon
divided
them
into a
stricter
and
milder
sect;
and
there is
some
reason
to
conjecture
that the
family
of Jesus
remained
members,
at
least,
of the
latter
and more
moderate
party”.
The
Ebionites
who were
totally
faithful
to the
Original
Gospel
teaching,
understood
that the
Kingdom
or
Second
Coming
can only
come
within
the mind
and body
of the
seeker/disciple
who
lives
the
necessary
Consecrated
Life in
TheWay.
A Purely
Spiritual
Kingdom:
When
questioned
by
Pilate,
Jesus
said
that his
Kingdom
was not
of this
world:
"Jesus
answered,
'My
kingdom
is not
of this
world.
If My
kingdom
were of
this
world,
My
servants
would
fight...
but now
My
kingdom
is not
from
here'"
(John
18:36
NKJ).
The
reality
of this
inner
Kingdom
was
further
confirmed
when
Jesus
stated
to the
Pharisees:
"Now
when He
was
asked by
the
Pharisees
when the
kingdom
of God
would
come, He
answered
them and
said,
The
kingdom
of God
does not
come
with
observation;
nor will
they
say,
'See
here!'
or 'See
there!'
For
indeed,
the
kingdom
of God
is
within
you"
(Luke
17:20-21
NKJ).
And that
this was
the
original
Ebionite
Nazirene
teaching
on the
Kingdom
is
further
documented
by
Edward
Gibbon
in the
Decline
And Fall
Of The
Roman
Empire
where he
writes:
"Among
the
Christians
who were
brought
before
the
tribunal
of the
emperor,
or, as
it seems
more
probable,
before
that of
the
procurator
of
Judaea,
two
persons
are said
to have
appeared,
distinguished
by their
extraction,
which
was more
truly
noble
than
that of
the
greatest
monarchs.
These
were the
grandsons
of St.
Jude the
apostle,
who
himself
was the
brother
of Jesus
Christ.
Their
natural
pretensions
to the
throne
of David
might
perhaps
attract
the
respect
of the
people,
and
excite
the
jealousy
of the
governor;
but the
meanness
of their
garb,
and the
simplicity
of their
answers,
soon
convinced
him that
they
were
neither
desirous
nor
capable
of
disturbing
the
peace of
the
Roman
empire.
They
frankly
confessed
their
royal
origin,
and
their
near

The historical
and spiritual factualness of the above
can be proven when one understands the
original words that were spoken to the
man Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan
River -- when the Voice of God stated:
"Thou art my
Son, this day have I begotten thee"
-- which means that the historical man
Jesus was a man who -- having fulfilled
the Law within himself -- became the
Messiah/Christ when he overcame the Laws
and became Anointed by God. That
the words spoken by God to mankind were
corrupted by the fourth century Church
of Constantine, is proven at
http://TheTenWords.com . When
the historical man Jesus is understood
as the first of the prodigal sons to
overcome the Law within himself and
return to the Father in the Edenic
Kingdom, then the statement in the
Gospel Of the Hebrews can be understood:
"And it came to pass when the Lord was
come up out of the water, the whole
fount of the Holy Spirit descended upon
him and rested on him and said to him:
My Son, in all the prophets was I
waiting for thee that thou shouldest
come and I might rest in thee".
The Greek word Christ and the Hebrew
word Messiah in English mean The
Anointed -- and there were twenty-one
(21) prophets and kings in the Old
Testament who were
"Anointed" by God --
i.e.,
"...in all the prophets was I waiting
for thee that thou shouldest come and I
might rest in thee".
All of the Anointed (Christ/Messiah)
kings and prophets failed to fulfill the
Law completely -- i.e.,
"He was the Christ
of God, since not one of the rest of
mankind had observed the Law completely.
Had any one else fulfilled the
commandments of the Law, he would have
been the Christ. ,
for they assert that our Lord Himself
was a man in like sense with all
humanity" (see
Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer.
vii. 34). By fulfilling the Law
within himself, Jesus fulfilled the
requirement to be perfect -- i.e.,
"You,
therefore, must be perfect, as your
Heavenly Father is perfect"
(Matt 5:48). Which
those who were previously Anointed
(Messiah/Christ) had not accomplished --
as stated in the Gospel of the Hebrews:
"For
in the prophets also, after they were
anointed by the Holy Spirit, the word of
sin was found".
This confirms what Hippolytus wrote when
he confirmed that the body of original
core followers and disciple believed that
when anyone
"...thus fulfill the law, they are able
to become Christs" (Hippolytus,
Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see
http://Ebionite.com ). Which
means that what Jesus accomplished, is
in fact the eventual destiny of all of
mankind who are portrayed as the lost
prodigal sons and daughters of their
Heavenly Father. And this is
why Jesus taught that he was our brother
-- i.e., "Go
instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I
am returning to my Father and your
Father, to my God and your God'"
(John 20:17 NIV).
Which
was further witnessed to by the
Disciples where it is proclaimed:
"And we ourselves proclaim to you the
good news of the promise that was made
to our ancestors. God has fulfilled this
for us, their children, by raising up
Jesus, as it is written in the second
Psalm: You are My Son; today I have
become Your Father" (Acts
13:32-33) -- and again Paul states:
"For to which
of the angels did He ever say, You are
My Son; today I have become Your Father,
or again, I will be His Father, and He
will be My Son?" (Heb 1:5).
These biblical witnesses are
incomprehensible to the modern Christian
whose beliefs are based upon the
doctrines of Constantine and Martin
Luther.
What Jesus taught and revealed to his
disciples with regard to who he was, is
exactly what was stated by Peter after
he was himself totally enlightened by
the Holy Spirit:
“Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of
Nazareth was a man accredited by God to
you by miracles, wonders and signs,
which God did among you through him,
as you yourselves know”
(Acts 2:22 NIV). Where did Peter get
the notion that Jesus was a man -- a man
"accredited by God"
-- a man that God performed miracles,
wonders and signs
"...which God did among you through him"? Didn’t
Jesus himself say that
“Truly, truly, I say to you, the
Son can do nothing of Himself...”
(John 5:19 NAS);
“The words that I speak to you I
do not speak on My own authority; but
the Father who dwells in Me does the
works”
(John 14:10 NKJ);
“I can of Myself do nothing. As I
hear, I judge; and My judgment is
righteous, because I do not seek My own
will but the will of the Father who sent
Me”
(John 5:30 NKJ);
“...I do nothing on my own but
speak just what the Father has taught
me. The one who sent me is with me; he
has not left me alone, for I always do
what pleases him”
(John 8:28-29 NIV);
“for the works which the Father
has given Me to finish -- the very works
that I do -- bear witness of Me, that
the Father has sent Me”
(John 5:36 NKJ);
“I have manifested Your name to
the men whom You have given Me out of
the world. They were Yours, You gave
them to Me, and they have kept Your
word. Now they have known that all
things which You have given Me are from
You”
(John 17:6-7 NKJ).
The important
spiritual truth that is demonstrated in
the above is that EVERY PRODIGAL SON AND
DAUGHTER has the capacity to become
Anointed and arise to perfection as
their elder brother Jesus did.
And this is further confirmed in the
quotation of the Apostle Peter by his
disciple Clement in the Homilies where
it is written:
“For even the Hebrews who believe Moses,
and do not observe the things spoken by
him, are not saved, unless they observe
the things that were spoken to them. For
their believing Moses was not of their
own will, but of God, who said to Moses,
Behold, I come to thee in a pillar of
cloud, that the people may hear me
speaking to thee, and may believe thee
for ever. Since, therefore, both to the
Hebrews and to those who are called from
the Gentiles, believing in the teachers
of truth is of God, while excellent
actions are left to every one to do by
his own judgment, the reward is
righteously bestowed upon those who do
well. For there would have been no need
of Moses, or of the coming of Jesus, if
of themselves they would have understood
what is reasonable. Neither is there
salvation in believing in teachers and
calling them lords”.
In
absolute opposition to the dogma of
Pagan Rome and the
teachings of the Iranian prophet Mani which both
Manichean and Mithraic Dualism served as
the Foundation of the Doctrine of
Original Sin that was championed by St.
Augustine, Peter proclaims that
"...For there
would have been no need of Moses, or of
the coming of Jesus, if of themselves
they would have understood what is
reasonable. Neither is there salvation
in believing in teachers and calling
them lords”. Why did
Peter state that
"...if of themselves they would
have understood what is reasonable"
-- which was to totally keep the
Commandments and fulfill the Law within
themselves and
"...they are able to become Christs".
And in total opposition to the prayer of the
modern Christian beseeching the man
Jesus to be their savior -- on faith alone with no requirement
of actions -- Peter states:
"...Neither is there salvation in
believing in teachers and calling them
lords”.
Thus, the instant salvation that modern
Christians have been seduced into
believing they have, has no foundation
in fact. That man has the
capacity to arise from the carnal
elements of this realm -- keep and live
in accord with the Royal Law and
Commandments of God -- is why Paul warns
the Christians that if they knowingly
sin after coming to the Gospel
teachings, that they will be totally
rejected as apostates to the Kingdom:
"For it is
impossible to restore again to
repentance those who ...then commit
apostasy, since they crucify the Son of
God on their own account and hold him up
to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately
after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a
sacrifice for sins, but a fearful
prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire
which will consume the adversaries."
(Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). This is why
Paul stated with respect to those who
call themselves Christian, and continue
to live a sinful life: "But
if, while we seek to be justified by
Christ, we ourselves also are found
sinners, is therefore Christ the
minister of sin? God forbid. For if I
build again the things which I
destroyed, I make myself a transgressor" (Gal
2:17-18 KJV). Which confirms the
alternate ending of the Gospel of Mark
which reads: "This
Age of lawlessness and unbelieving lies
under the sway of Satan, who will not
allow what lies under the unclean
spirits to understand the truth and
power of God; therefore, they said to
Christ, reveal your righteousness now.
Christ answered them, The term of years
for Satan's power has now expired, but
other terrors are at hand. I was
delivered to death on behalf of
sinners, that they might return to the
truth and sin no more, that they might
inherit that glory of righteousness
which is spiritual and imperishable in
heaven" (Moffatt, quoting
Gospel Of Mark in Codex W - Also quoted
by St. Jerome as being the authentic
ending of the Gospel of Mark).
That the
later Church of Rome which existed as a
puppet under the pagan sun worshipping
Emperor Constantine, censored and
changed the very words of God spoken to
mankind, is the primary reason why the
Christian world remains shackled to the
abyss of spiritual ignorance to this
very day. In the below article it
will be demonstrated that all the
pre-Nicene Christian authors who quoted
the baptism sequence in their writings,
confirmed that prior to the fourth
century editing of the scriptures by
the Church of Rome, that the Gospels confirmed
that Jesus was a holy man who became the
Lord's Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by
fulfilling and overcoming the Laws. Or,
as stated by Dead Sea Scroll expert
Edmund Wilson
“Jesus... had been trained in the
discipline and imbued with the thought
of a certain Jewish sect [the very
mystical and Gnostic Essenes], and that he
had learned from it the role that he
afterwards lived...”.
And it was Jesus' fulfilling the Royal
Law within himself that God acknowledged
to mankind when he said at Jesus'
baptism in the Jordan:
"Thou art my
Son, this day have I begotten thee". Moreover, in addition to the six (6)
pre-Nicene Christian authors who are
cited in
The Ten Words, this fact is further
confirmed in the more ancient surviving
biblical texts that modern translators
continue to ignore to the spiritual
pearl of the Christian world today.
That the modern Church continues to
reject the very words of God spoken to
mankind, in favor of the censored and
corrupted words of the fourth century
Emperor of Pagan Rome, is the reason why
the modern Church which has caused
itself to be spiritually flat-lined,
only possesses what Paul portrayed as
the
"elementary" doctrines that
the Church Father Origen defined as
being
“...preached in the Churches …for the
simpleminded and for the ears of the
common crowd who are led on to live
better lives by their belief”
(see Origen, Contra Celsum).
These
10 words
demonstrate conclusively that the text
of the New Testament has been altered in
order to make it support the doctrines
of the Pagan Roman/Greek world. These
10 words
further demonstrate that the essence of
the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus has little
in common with the Christian religion
today. In fact, these
10 words
are to Christianity, what the
10 Commandments
were to Judaism -- i.e., the foundation
from which every other aspect of the
religion springs forth! When Jesus
taught that believers must pick up their
own cross and travail in TheWay, this
required a total change in the person's
thinking, mindset and lifestyle.

Spiritual
Apostasy: In the fourth century
that segment of the Church which
portrayed itself as Orthodox, entered
into a covenant with the Roman Emperor
Constantine -- wherein the Church fell
into the pit of corruption. How
corrupt had the Church become?
In his
letter to Pope Leo X on
September 6th, 1520, where Martin Luther
wrote of the Christianity of his day,
that the church,
“…once the holiest of all, has become
the most licentious den of thieves, the
most shameless of all brothels, the
kingdom of sin, death, and hell. It is
so bad that even Antichrist himself, if
he should come, could think of nothing
to add to its wickedness”
(Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled
by George Seldes).
Confronted by the massive corruption of
the Roman Church when the emperor hunted
down the Spiritual Christians who
refused to embrace the dogma of
Constantine -- i.e., In the words of
Gibbon in the Decline And Fall Of The
Roman Empire:
”Constantine easily believed that
the heretics, who presumed to dispute
his opinions or to oppose his commands,
were guilty of the most absurd and
criminal obstinancy... Not a moment was
lost in excluding the ministers and
teachers of the separated congregations
from any share of the rewards and
immunities which the emperor had so
liberally bestowed on the orthodox
clergy. But as the sectaries might still
exist under the cloud of royal disgrace,
the conquest of the East was immediately
followed by an edict which announced
their total destruction”.
Being forced to rely upon corrupted
scriptures --
"...theological
disputes, specifically disputes over
Christology, prompted Christian scribes
to alter the words of scripture in order
to make them more serviceable for the
polemical task. Scribes modified their
manuscripts to make them more patently
‘orthodox’ and less susceptible to
‘abuse’ by the opponents of orthodoxy"
(Prof.
Bart D. Ehrman, The Orthodox
Corruption of Scripture).
With the
most important higher level spiritual
teachings removed -- creating a dogmatic
void in the foundation of the Church --
Martin Luther and many of the other
framers of the Reformation relied upon
the theology of Augustine and Original
Sin to explain away the important
foundational teachings that were
suppressed by the Church.
Martin Luther who fully
embraced the doctrine of Original Sin,
based his theology on Augustine's
doctrine of Original Sin -- which was
itself founded upon the
teachings of the Iranian prophet Mani
which the tenets of both Manichean and
Mithraic
tenets
were based upon --
that because of the
sin of Adam and Eve, that mankind was a
congenital sinner who had to be redeemed
from his fallen condition -- and even
after his redemption, man could not cease to
sin -- teaching that Christians should
live in sin as seen in his words of
Martin Luther:
"Be a sinner,
and let your sins be strong, but let
your trust in Christ be stronger, and
rejoice in Christ who is the victor over
sin, death, and the world. We will
commit sins while we are here, for this
life is not a place where justice
resides... No sin can separate us from
Him, even if we were to kill or commit
adultery thousands of times each day."
('Let Your Sins Be Strong, from 'The
Wittenberg Project;' 'The Wartburg
Segment', translated by Erika Flores,
from Dr. Martin Luther's Saemmtliche
Schriften, Letter No. 99, 1 Aug.
1521). Martin Luther even went as far
in opposition to the teachings of Jesus
and TheWay, as to condemn those who
strove to live the Consecrated Life that
the Gospel Ordained -- as seen in the
words: "Those
pious souls who do good to gain the
Kingdom of Heaven not only will never
succeed, but they must even be reckoned
among the impious; and it is more
important to guard them against good
works than against sin."
(Wittenberg, VI, 160, quoted by O'Hare,
in 'The Facts About Luther, TAN Books,
1987, p. 122).
Thus, there is simply very little that
the modern Church holds in common with
the original teachings of Jesus and
TheWay which was the path of spiritual
transformation and Completion -- and the
Command:
"Wherefore come out from among them, and
be ye separate, saith the Lord, and
touch not the unclean thing; and I will
receive you" (2
Cor 6:17 KJV).
What was
the source of the Roman Church's
doctrine of Original Sin? Quoting
from T.W. Doane, Bible Myths and their
Parallels in other Religions, 7th ed.,
1910, p.194-5:
"The Persians believed that they were
tainted with original sin, owing to the
fall of their first parents who were
tempted by the evil one in the form of a
serpent" [194:12]. St.
Augustine, one of the most important
figures in the history of the Roman
Church, was a Manichaean before
converting to Christianity.
And while Augustine after his conversion
vehemently opposed the Manichaean views
of God, his teachings on original sin
were directly drawn from what he had
learned in Manichaeism.
When the Church
embraced the man-made doctrine of
Martin Luther that a Christian inherits
the promise of salvation based
solely upon faith -- totally
irrespective of their lifestyle and
actions -- using Jesus as a one time
sacrifice for their lives immersed in perpetual sin -- the Christian
world became apostates to the Original
Gospel teachings and the Kingdom.
The Flawed Doctrine Of Perpetual
Redemption totally ignores the many
statements by Paul where he warns:
"For it is
impossible to restore again to
repentance those who ...then commit
apostasy, since they crucify the Son of
God on their own account and hold him up
to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately
after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a
sacrifice for sins, but a fearful
prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire
which will consume the adversaries."
(Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). Why did Paul
make such a statement? Because the
original Gospel teachings in their
original form was one of spiritual
transformation -- a process that would
evolve the mind of the seeker/disciple
from their embryonic condition, to that
of spiritual maturity and Wholeness --
and those who reject these teachings and
fall back into the thinking and
lifestyle of this world -- who willfully
sin after coming to the knowledge of the
Gospel message -- are not only
unbelievers and apostates to the
teachings of the Gospels, but in Paul's
words these counterfeit believers
crucify the Son of God afresh. And, in
total opposition to what is preached in
the modern Churches, Paul warns that
"...there no
longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but
a fearful prospect of judgment, and a
fury of fire which will consume the
adversaries."
There is of
course the statement by Peter that
confirms the foregoing by Paul -- i..e,
"If they have
escaped the corruption of the world by
knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
and are again entangled in it and
overcome, they are worse off at the end
than they were at the beginning. It
would have been better for them not to
have known the way of righteousness,
than to have known it and then to turn
their backs on the sacred command that
was passed on to them. Of them the
proverbs are true: A dog returns to its
vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes
back to her wallowing in the mud"
(2 Pet 2:20-22 NIV). Where the
modern Church promotes the doctrine that
they are saved by Grace regardless of
the manner in which they live their
lives, Peter not only states that this
doctrine is in grave error, but
correctly states that:
"It would have
been better for them not to have known
the way of righteousness, than to have
known it and then to turn their backs on
the sacred command that was passed on to
them." Every Christian should
ask themselves:
How Can This Be??? How can those
who have never known the teachings of
Christ, be better off than those who
having heard, and are complacent towards
those teachings?
In the
Revelation it is warned:
"I know your
works, that you are neither cold nor
hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
So then, because you are lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you
out of My mouth" (Rev 3:15-16
NKJ). What works are being made
reference to? Someone who is cold to the
Gospel, is an unbeliever -- while
someone who is hot, is on fire as a true
Disciple of TheWay. But someone who is
lukewarm, is very clearly a member of
the Church who is complacent, and fails
to bring about the works of the spirit
that is required to walk in TheWay. Thus, Jesus warned:
"And that servant,
which knew his lord's will, and prepared
not himself, neither did according to
his will, shall be beaten with many
stripes. But he that knew not, and did
commit things worthy of stripes, shall
be beaten with few stripes. For unto
whomsoever much is given, of him shall
be much required: and to whom men have
committed much, of him they will ask the
more" (Luke 12:47-48 KJV).
Thus, the modern Christian simply has no
means to understand why and how the
lukewarm believer will be beaten with
the stripes of greater judgment, than
the unbeliever. So what is the fate of
those who
"...did commit things worthy of stripes"
-- but they shall clearly
receive far less than those who knew the
masters will, but did not properly
prepare themselves? This is in
opposition to everything that modern
Christians believe.
It is
virtually impossible for the modern
Christian to answer any of the above
questions, because they are missing many
of the most important teachings that
were removed by the later Church from
the Gospels. But in each of the above
scriptural citings, the alleged
(Christian) believer was dealt with more
harshly than the unbeliever. The Law of
Grace can only be invoked when the
person brings about change in their
lives -- and a person who should know
better, is dealt with more severely than
the person who is not in a position to
know better. Much I what I am presenting
to you can be found on the website
TheLie @
http://TheLie.org . Let me therefore
quote a little more:
When Jesus said to the chief priests and
the elders that the
“…tax
collectors and the harlots go into the
kingdom of God before you”
(Matt 21:31 RSV), such a statement
simply has no place within the present
day understanding of Christian
doctrine. Which provokes the questions:
Did Jesus misspeak? Was he wrong? Or,
are modern Christians lacking an
important aspect of the Original Gospel
teachings? Because the
modern believer is without a
means to explain Jesus' words, most
Bible commentaries simply ignore the
implications of this passage of
scripture. One widely used commentary
attempts to correct the text by changing
the words to
“instead of” -- which would
then make the meaning doctrinally
correct and read:
“The tax collectors and the harlots
go into the kingdom of God instead of
you”. But this is not what
Jesus stated. And this reality is
further confirmed in the case of sinners
and those who have been judged by the
Law are portrayed as having been cast
into a type of prison, Jesus stated:
"Assuredly, I
say to you, you will by no means get out
of there till you have paid the last
penny" (Matt 5:26 NKJ).
All three synoptic Gospels contain the
passage of scripture which states:
“And when he
was gone forth into the way, there came
one running, and kneeled to him, and
asked him, Good Master, what shall I do
that I may inherit eternal life?”
(Mark 10:16 KJV). The more we consider
the reply of Jesus to this question, the
more we comprehend that his answer
undermines our whole modern-day
understanding of the Gospel:
“And he said
unto him, Why callest thou me good?
there is none good but one, that is,
God: but if thou wilt enter into life,
keep the commandments” (Matt
19:17 KJV). Why would Jesus tell the man
seeking eternal life to go and
"...keep the
commandments”? If, as
modern Church doctrine proclaims, there
is no salvation apart from faith and
belief in Jesus -- and no works or
actions are a part of the equation --
then why wouldn't Jesus simply tell the
man to believe?
In the modern Christian’s search for a
higher understanding of the Gospel
message, what is presented in this
passage of scripture is of the greatest
importance, as seen in the Adam Clarke
Commentary which writes:
“Much instruction may be had from
seriously attending to the conduct,
spirit, and question of this person.
1. He came running (Mark 10:17), for he
was deeply convinced of the importance
of his business, and seriously
determined to seek so as to find.
2. He kneeled, or caught him by the
knees, thus evidencing his humility, and
addressing himself only to mercy. (See
Matt. 17:14).
3. He came in the spirit of a disciple,
or scholar, desiring to be taught a
matter of the utmost importance to him
-- Good teacher.
4. He came in the spirit of obedience;
he had worked hard to no purpose, and he
is still willing to work, provided he
can have a prospect of succeeding --
What good thing shall I do?
5. His question was the most interesting
and important that any soul can ask of
God -- How shall I be saved?”
Then there
is the all-encompassing statement:
“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord,
Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name,
and in Your name cast out demons, and in
Your name perform many miracles?’ And
then I will declare to them, ‘I never
knew you; depart from Me, you who
practice lawlessness’” (Matt
7:22-23 NAS). Practicing lawlessness is
to be made aware of the Commandments,
and failing to manifest them in one's
daily life.
In the
Original New Covenant Sacraments (
http://Sacraments.Nazirene.org )
Baptism was the required wedding garment
to come to TheCall to the Wedding
Feast. And in accord with the Original
Gospel Teachings, if a person knowingly
sins after baptism, then they have
defiled the Wedding Garment -- and there
can be no more forgiveness of sins. And
I believe that Paul answers the question
in the statement. (quoting from
http://sacraments.nazirene.org/#SpiritualAbuseOfSacraments
): When Paul wrote and warned that
whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup
of the Lord in an unworthy manner will
be guilty concerning the body and blood
of the Lord -- i.e.,
"Therefore
whoever eats this bread or drinks this
cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner
will be guilty of the body and blood of
the Lord. Let a person examine himself,
then, and so eat of the bread and drink
of the cup. For anyone who eats and
drinks without discerning the body eats
and drinks judgment on himself"
(1 Cor 11:27-29) -- the question should
be posed as to what constitutes a lack
of discernment? While a more exacting
translation of the above is found in
many of the older versions which state:
"eateth and
drinketh damnation to himself",
few Christians who have been taught the
modern man-made doctrines of the Church,
are able to understand how a baptized
and confirmed Christian can eat and
drink damnation and judgment for their
failure to properly discern the Lord's
body.
Thus, the
question that must be asked in light of
the Biblical experts who have raised the
question as to
"...the source and originality of
Christian doctrine”,
is what exactly constitutes the required
"wedding garment"?
Which also raises the question: While it
is true that Paul rejected the ritual
observance of the Jews, what was the
requirements that Paul did set forth for
the congregation of believers? To the
faith-based Christians Paul stated:
"Put to death,
therefore, whatever belongs to your
earthly nature..." (Col 3:5
NIV) -- stating that
"Those who
belong to Christ Jesus have crucified
the sinful nature with its passions and
desires" (Gal 5:24 NIV).
Therefore it can be concluded
that from Paul's perspective, living in
accord with the Gospel teachings
requires repentance and change -- and
thus, the reality of the words of Isaiah
have enveloped the modern faith-based
believers: "For
they that lead this people cause them to
err; and they that are led of them are
destroyed" (Isa 9:6). And
when rightly understood, the resounding
truth is that the modern believers have
chosen tradition and dogma over the
Knowledge of the Original Teachings
associated with the New Covenant --
i.e., "My
people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge: because thou hast rejected
knowledge, I will also reject thee..."
(Hos 4:6).
While the
purpose -- the teachings -- as well as
the religious/spiritual objectives of
the original New Covenant Sacraments may
trouble the modern believer, it can also
be demonstrated that the believer is not
held accountable for the sin of
ignorance -- and that there is Grace and
Forgiveness for those who are truly
faithful to the Lord. Thus, the
question is raised:
“But why do you
call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the
things which I say?” (Luke
6:46 NKJ). And, while many Christians
today may that the very words of the
Gospel do not apply to them:
“Not everyone who
says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the
kingdom of heaven, but only he who does
the will of my Father who is in heaven”
(Matt 7:21 NIV).
What is the
will of our Heavenly Father? How are
we to know the Truth? After all, if we
have been deceived by the doctrines of
men, then what are we supposed to do?
A reality that is not understood by the
modern faith-based believer is the fact
that the truly faithful Christian has
the innate ability to Prove the Truth --
as stated in the words of Jesus:
“If any of you
really determines to do God’s will, then
you will certainly know whether my
teaching is from God or is merely my
own” (John 7:17 TLB)
How will the
believer know the Truth? And that
these teachings are from God?
In the Bible translation known as The
Message, the above reality of Jesus'
words are answered. In this translation
when Jesus turned to the Jews who had
claimed to believe in him and said: "If
you stick with this, living out what I
tell you, you are my disciples for sure.
Then you will experience for yourselves
the truth, and the truth will free you" (John
8:31-32 TheMessage) -- which confirms
the original Gospel teachings set forth
in the parable of the Sower And the
Seed, that only those who live the Truth
in word, thought, desire and deed, can
know the Truth. And it is important to
recognzie that Jesus didn't say that
they would believe the truth -- or that
they would discern what they believed
would be dogmatic truth out of the
scriptures or some book written by other
men -- but rather, Jesus conveyed to
them that if they follow in TheWay, that
they "...will
experience for yourselves the truth, ...and
it is this SELF-EXPERIENCED TRUTH
that...will free you" from
the error and ignorance that consumes
the people of this world.
Baptism -
The Required Wedding Garment: The
Gospel teachings of Jesus and the New
Covenant known as TheWay, has specific
Sacraments -- and the spiritual
significance of these sacraments are not
at all understood today. In the
parable of TheCall to the Wedding Feast,
what is portrayed as the required
"wedding
garment" is in
fact the sacrament of baptism. But the
original teachings on baptism was
totally abandoned by the segment of
early Gentile Church which portrayed
itself as Orthodox, and it is this
man-made dogma that has caused the
original teachings on baptism to be very
different than what is practiced today.
In total rejection of the modern dogma
of the Church, Paul writes (see above)
that
"...For if we
sin deliberately after receiving the
knowledge of the truth, there no longer
remains a sacrifice for sins, but a
fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury
of fire which will consume the
adversaries." (Heb
6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). Peter
confirms the foregoing in the words:
"It
would have been better for them not to
have known the way of righteousness,
than to have known it and then to turn
their backs on the sacred command that
was passed on to them."
Paul again warns that those who
sin after coming to the Lord
"eateth and
drinketh damnation to himself".
And while Christians have blindly chosen
to ignore these warnings, they are
confirmed in the Homilies of Clement who
was the first century disciple of the
Apostle Peter where he is quoted as
stating with respect to the sacrament of
Baptism: "He
has commanded us to go forth to preach,
and to invite you to the supper of the
heavenly King, which the Father hath
prepared for the marriage of His Son,
and that we should give you wedding
garments, that is, the grace of baptism;
which whosoever obtains,
as a spotless robe
with which he is to enter to the supper
of the King,
ought to beware that
it be not in any
part of it stained with sin,
and so he be
rejected as unworthy and reprobate." Contrary to
the modern usage of the sacrament of
baptism, according to Peter, once the "wedding
garment" is received, if the
person then willfully sins, then the
wedding garment is stained, and there
can be no further repentance -- i.e.,
you "...ought
to beware that it be not in any part of
it stained with sin, and so he be
rejected as unworthy and reprobate."
The most
popular and accepted scripture over the
first three centuries was the Shepherd
of Hermas (see
Shepherd), which states that once
one receives the sacrament of baptism
which is the
"wedding garment", there is
only one opportunity for repentance from
any future sins -- i.e., "For
he that hath received remission of sins
ought no longer to sin, but to dwell in
purity. ...But I say unto you', saith
he, `if after this great and holy
calling any one, being tempted of the
devil, shall commit sin, he hath only
one (opportunity of) repentance."
While this original teaching will be
rejected by the modern dogmatic Church
who uses the Jesus-god of Constantine as
an exemption from being required to live
in accord with the Commandments and the
Original Gospel Teachings, this
statement in the Shepherd of Hermas is
in fact confirmed by Paul in the
warning: "For
it is impossible to restore again to
repentance those who ...then commit
apostasy, since they crucify the Son of
God on their own account and hold him up
to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately
after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a
sacrifice for sins, but a fearful
prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire
which will consume the adversaries." (Heb
6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). Thus, Acts 3:19
confirms the original teachings that
baptism -- as the required wedding
garment -- must constitute a total
repentance from sin, and the living of a
life where the believer does not
consciously commit any future sin:
"Repent, then,
and turn to God, so that your sins may
be wiped out, that times of refreshing
may come from the Lord, and that he may
send the Messiah, who has been appointed
for you...". To repent and
turn to God, requires a total change of
mind and lifestyle. Those who truly
accomplish this, will personally receive
the Anointing (Messiah/Christ), which
will open their minds and enlighten them
in accord with their Spiritual
Condition.
As older
pre-Nicene collections and copies of
ancient scriptures are recovered through
archaeological discoveries, they
continue to demonstrate the existence of
an entirely different Christianity that
is totally foreign to the Church that
enlists under the name of Christ today.
In fact, even with the documentation
long possessed by the modern church, it
is easy to literally pull the proverbial
rug right out from under the very
foundation of popular Christian
thought. In a surviving excerpt of what
has been historically known as the
Gospel According to the Hebrews, which
was reported to be the
"original version
of Matthew"
that was composed
in the Hebrew language, of which our
present day gospel is a lesser Greek
version of, it was written:
"If ye be in my
bosom and do not the will of my Father
which is in heaven, out of my bosom will
I cast you away".
In the late nineteenth century a library
of scriptures was uncovered which is
today known as the Oxyrhynchus Papyri
-- wherein this verse is found reading:
"Though
ye be gathered together with me in my
bosom, if ye do not my commandants, I
will cast you forth".
And to the horror of modern Christians
who reject the Gospel of the Nazirenes
(see
Gospel Of The Nazirenes)
and all its strange readings, we once
again find this same verse: And I say to
you,
"Though you be gathered together in
my bosom, if you keep not my
commandments I will cast you forth. For
if you keep not the lesser mysteries,
who shall give you the greater."
This same verse of scripture is quoted
in what is historically known as the 2nd
Epistle of Clement, where it is written:
"Let us, then, not only call Him Lord,
for that will not save us. For He saith,
'Not every one that saith to me, Lord,
Lord, shall be saved, but he that
worketh righteousness' …For this reason…
the Lord hath said, 'Even though ye were
gathered together to me in my very
bosom, yet if ye were not to keep my
commandments, I would cast you off, and
say unto you, Depart from me; I know you
not whence ye are, ye workers of
iniquity’". Of
course, Christians can no longer read
this important teaching, because the
Church of Constantine censored and
removed Jesus' words from the canonical
Bibles used today.
What this
means is that the religion of Jesus in
its original form was one of spiritual
transformation -- and those who
willfully sin after coming to the
knowledge of Christ -- being initially
clothed in the "wedding
garment" of Spiritual Baptism
-- crucify the Son of God afresh when
they then willfully sin -- and in the
warning of Paul, "...there
no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
but a fearful prospect of judgment, and
a fury of fire which will consume the
adversaries." This is why
Paul stated with respect to those who
call themselves Christian, and continue
to live a sinful life: "But
if, while we seek to be justified by
Christ, we ourselves also are found
sinners, is therefore Christ the
minister of sin? God forbid. For if I
build again the things which I
destroyed, I make myself a transgressor" (Gal
2:17-18 KJV). Which confirms the
alternate ending of the Gospel of Mark
which reads: "This
Age of lawlessness and unbelieving lies
under the sway of Satan, who will not
allow what lies under the unclean
spirits to understand the truth and
power of God; therefore, they said to
Christ, reveal your righteousness now.
Christ answered them, The term of years
for Satan's power has now expired, but
other terrors are at hand. I was
delivered to death on behalf of
sinners, that they might return to the
truth and sin no more, that they might
inherit that glory of righteousness
which is spiritual and imperishable in
heaven" (Moffatt, quoting
Gospel Of Mark in Codex W - Also quoted
by St. Jerome as being the authentic
ending of the Gospel of Mark). Thus,
Jesus warned those who would call upon
the Lord and expect to have earned
salvation: “But
why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do
not do the things which I say?” (Luke
6:46 NKJ). And, “Not
everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,'
will enter the kingdom of heaven, but
only he who does the will of my Father
who is in heaven” (Matt 7:21
NIV). That the very people who with
their lips proclaim themselves to
believe, continue to lie "...under
the sway of Satan" -- or, in
the words of John: "Little
children, let no one deceive you. He who
practices righteousness is righteous,
just as He is righteous. He who sins is
of the devil, for the devil has sinned
from the beginning" (1 John
3:7-8 NKJV).
The
Faux-Baptism Of The Church: The
sincere Christian will of course pose
the question: Is the above teaching on
baptism valid and correct? Is the
Christian held accountable for their
willful sins after baptism? On this
very subject the Apostle Peter makes the
profound statement:
"If they have
escaped the corruption of the world by
knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
and are again entangled in it and
overcome,
they are worse off
at the end than they were at the
beginning.
It would have been better for them not
to have known the way of righteousness,
than to have known it and then to turn
their backs on the sacred command that
was passed on to them. Of them the
proverbs are true: A dog returns to its
vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes
back to her wallowing in the mud"
(2 Pet 2:20-22 NIV). Where the modern
Church promotes the doctrine that they
are saved by Grace regardless of the
manner in which they live their lives,
Peter not only states that this doctrine
is in grave error, but correctly states
that: "It would
have been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than to
have known it and then to turn their
backs on the sacred command that was
passed on to them." Every
Christian should ask themselves:
How can those who have never known the
teachings of Christ, be better off than
those who having heard and been baptized
into TheWay, and are complacent towards
those teachings? It would appear that
Peter is stating that those who had
never heard the Gospel message -- and
had themselves committed much sin --
will in the hereafter inherit a more
lofty place in the Kingdom than the
complacent believers.
Christians
promote the doctrine that only those who
believe can be saved -- and here Peter
is stating that just the opposite is
true -- and that those people who claim
to believe, and fall back to their old
ways where they embrace the culture and
ways of this world, will in fact be
worse off after they have come to
believe, than before they began to
believe. Moreover, the shepherds and
blind guides that Peter is making
reference to, are those who preach the
modern doctrine of using the Gospel as a
license to dwell in perpetual sin that
is promoted in churches today -- i.e.,
"This is
especially true of those who follow the
corrupt desire of the sinful nature..."
(2 Peter 2:10 NIV). Because these
false shepherds even if they are
sincere, fail to understand the reality
of what Jesus meant when he used the
terms Whole, and Complete, they preach
the "...promise
[of] freedom [in their doctrine of
salvation by faith and grace alone],
while they themselves are slaves of
depravity" In what can
only be in total opposition to what
Christians today believe, Peter states
that it would have been better for the
entry-level believers to have never
heard of the Gospel, than to have heard,
and then fall prey to the false
shepherds who promise them freedom, but
blindly lead the believers into the
proverbial ditch. And thus, there is
simply no means for the modern Christian
who believes the doctrines of the
Church, to even begin to understand what
Peter is making reference to.
In the parable of the Talents, the
Wycliffe Bible Commentary correctly
makes note of the great conflict between
the message of the scriptures and the
doctrines of the Church where it is
noted that
"...we apparently
have a true believer suffering the loss
of his soul because of the barrenness of
his works",
even more important is the message at
the end of this parable that proclaims:
“That
servant who knows his master's will and
does not get ready or does not do what
his master wants will be beaten with
many blows. But the one who does not
know and does things deserving
punishment will be beaten with few
blows. From everyone who has been given
much, much will be demanded; and from
the one who has been entrusted with
much, much more will be asked”
(Luke 12:47-48 NIV).
When you put this message together with
the warning of the Apostle Peter that
"It would have been better for them
not to have known the way of
righteousness, than to have known it and
then to turn their backs on the sacred
command that was passed on to them."
(2 Pet 2:20-22 NIV)
-- the message that emerges from the
Gospel is so radically different than
what is preached in the Churches, that
the Christian world is seen to be so
spiritually disenfranchised by their
manmade dogma, that they are not at all
prepared to even read the very
scriptures they have attempted to
champion. In the picture that emerges,
not only is the
"...true believer
suffering the loss of his soul because
of the barrenness of his works",
but his fate is worse off than those
portrayed as unbelievers who are deemed
sinners by the very limited and inept
understanding of the Church. Not only
is it demonstrated that the believing
Christian is held to a much higher
standard than the unbelieving sinner,
but it is clearly stated that the
believing Christian is subject to the
greater damnation -- i.e.,
“That servant who
knows his master's will and does not get
ready or does not do what his master
wants will be beaten with many blows.
But the one who does not know and does
things deserving punishment will be
beaten with few blows".
And if we even pose the question as to
what is the fate of the believer who has
been
"...beaten with many blows",
versus the unbeliever who
"...does things
deserving punishment will be beaten with
few blows",
it is impossible for the Church to even
begin to answer the very serious
questions that are raised by this
warning of Jesus.
The Sin
Of The Defiled Wedding Garment:
Quoting the Homilies of Clement who
preserved the words of the Apostle Peter
on how the required Wedding Garment
becomes defiled:
|
"But the ways in which
this garment may be spotted
are these: If any one
withdraw from God the Father
and Creator of all,
receiving another teacher
besides Christ, who alone is
the faithful and True
Prophet, and who has sent us
twelve apostles to preach
the word; if any one think
otherwise than worthily of
the substance of the
Godhead, which excels all
things; — these are the
things which even fatally
pollute the garment of
baptism. But the things
which pollute it in actions
are these: murders,
adulteries, hatreds,
avarice, evil ambition. And
the things which pollute at
once the soul and the body
are these: to partake of the
table of demons, that is, to
taste things sacrificed, or
blood, or a carcass which is
strangled, and if there be
aught else which has been
offered to demons. Be this
therefore the first step to
you of three; which step
brings forth thirty
commands, and the second
sixty, and the third a
hundred, as we shall expound
more fully to you at another
time." |
In
understanding that sin when it is
knowingly committed, is the reason why
Paul warned (see above) that such a
person is an apostate to the Gospel
teachings and the Kingdom - i.e.,
"For it is
impossible to restore again to
repentance those who ...then commit
apostasy, since they crucify the Son of
God on their own account and hold him up
to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately
after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a
sacrifice for sins, but a fearful
prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire
which will consume the adversaries." (Heb
6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). And that in
Paul's words the reference is clearly
made to the alleged believer when he
warned: "...For
anyone who eats and drinks without
discerning the body eateth and drinketh
damnation to himself" (1 Cor
11:27-29). With
respect to the actions of the original
disciples as presented in the Book of
Acts in the setting up of spiritual
communities that were to be set apart
from the culture and people of this
world to the degree that Paul commanded
the Christians to have nothing to do
with those who were morally and
spiritually unclean -- i.e.,
"Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not
the unclean thing; and I will receive
you" (2 Cor 6:17 KJV). To
the degree that Paul commanded the
community of believers not even to dine
with sinners -- i.e.,
"I wrote to you
in my epistle not to keep company with
sexually immoral people... But now I
have written to you not to keep company
with anyone named a brother, who is
sexually immoral, or covetous, or an
idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard,
or an extortioner -- not even to eat
with such a person..." (1
Cor 5:9-13 NKJ).
In the above
words of Peter there is another catalyst
presented that virtually no Christian
today possesses the spiritual insight to
comprehend -- i.e., (quoting)
"If any
one withdraw from God the Father and
Creator of all, receiving another
teacher besides Christ, who alone is the
faithful and True Prophet."
An alleged believer who defiled the
wedding garment, is portrayed as someone
who
"...withdraw from God the Father and
Creator of all" -- and this
withdrawal is based upon the sin of
going to a teacher other than the True
Prophet. And having
"...withdrawn
from God", these people
cannot even be legitimately called
Christians. All of which goes back
to the proclamation:
"And why call
ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things
which I say?" (Luke 6:46 KJV).
What this
means is that all the dogmatic teachings
and doctrines of the various Churches
has the effect of defiling the wedding
garment and alienating the believer from
the Promise of the Gospel.
And in the same way that the True
Prophet can only be approached through
the wearing of an unspotted
"wedding
garment" -- and the True
Prophet must be sought with a pure heart
and the living of a Consecrated Life in
TheWay -- as stated in the Second
Commandment of the Didache:
"And the second
commandment of the Teaching; You shall
not commit murder, you shall not commit
adultery, you shall not commit
pederasty, you shall not commit
fornication, you shall not steal, you
shall not practice magic, you shall not
practice witchcraft, you shall not
murder a child by abortion nor kill that
which is born. You shall not covet the
things of your neighbor, you shall not
swear, you shall not bear false witness,
you shall not speak evil, you shall bear
no grudge. You shall not be
double-minded nor double-tongued, for to
be double-tongued is a snare of death.
Your speech shall not be false, nor
empty, but fulfilled by deed. You shall
not be covetous, nor rapacious, nor a
hypocrite, nor evil disposed, nor
haughty. You shall not take evil counsel
against your neighbor. You shall not
hate any man; but some you shall
reprove, and concerning some you shall
pray, and some you shall love more than
your own life."
When Jesus
condemned going to the teachers of this
world -- and stated to his disciples
that there was only One Teacher -- this
Inner Teacher was called the True
Prophet (see
True Prophet) by his Ebionite
Nazirene Disciples. One of the primary
objectives of the Original Gospel
teachigns was to bring about that
condition within the mind and life of
the individual where they are able to
fulfill the statement in the Gospel of
John, and be
"taught by God" -- i.e.,
"It is written in
the prophets, 'And they shall all be
taught by
God.'
Therefore everyone who has heard and
learned from the Father comes to Me"
(John 6:45 NKJ). And it was for this
reason that Jesus commanded his
disciples not to be called teacher or
rabbi -- i.e.,
"But you are not to be called rabbi, for
you have One Teacher, and you are all
brethren" (Matt 23:8 RSV) --
and this was commanded, because there is
Only One True Teacher, and that is the
True Prophet -- Often referred to as the
Logos, the Son of God, and the Teacher
of Righteousness. And that those lost
prodigal sons who look to other men as
their teacher, rabbi or leaders, will be
greatly deceived and misguided, is why
the disciple Peter in the Clementine
Homilies declared: “Hence,
O beloved Clement,
if you would know the things
pertaining to God, you have to learn
them from Him alone, because He alone
knows the truth. For if any one else
knows anything, he has received it from
Him or from His disciples”.
Thus, this
reality of the Indwelling True Prophet
and One Teacher is especially
demonstrated in the Recognitions of
Clement, where St. Clement quotes the
teachings of the Apostle Peter. In
chapter 59, under the heading of The
True Prophet, Clement quotes Peter and
writes: “But I
would not have you think, that in saying
this I take away the power of judging
concerning things; but I give counsel
that no one walk through devious places,
and rush into errors without end. And
therefore I advise not only wise men,
but indeed all men who have a desire of
knowing what is advantageous to them,
that they seek after the true Prophet;
for it is He alone who knoweth all
things, and who knoweth what and how
every man is seeking.
For He is within
the mind of every one of us, but in
those who have no desire of the
knowledge of God and His righteousness,
He is inoperative; but He works in those
who seek after that which is profitable
to their souls, and kindles in them the
light of knowledge.
Wherefore seek Him first of all; and if
you do not find Him, expect not that you
shall learn anything from any other. But
He is soon found by those who diligently
seek Him through love of the truth, and
whose souls are not taken possession of
by wickedness. For He is present with
those who desire Him in the innocence of
their spirits, who bear patiently, and
draw sighs from the bottom of their
hearts through love of the truth; but He
deserts malevolent minds, because as a
prophet He knows the thoughts of every
one. And therefore let no one think that
he can find Him by his own wisdom,
unless, as we have said, he empty his
mind of all wickedness, and conceive a
pure and faithful desire to know Him.
For when
any one has so prepared himself, He
Himself as a prophet, seeing a mind
prepared for Him, of His own accord
offers Himself to his knowledge”.
What does
Peter say to us in these words? That the
True Prophet
“is within the mind of every one of us”.
This concept is Spiritual -- and is the
foundation of the Living Church that the
Lord inaugurated. But unless you live
the Consecrated Life as a Disciple of
TheWay -- and seek the Divine Manna of
the Inner Kingdom -- you cannot be
taught by the True Prophet, and receive
the Sacred Knowledge or Divine Manna of
the Kingdom. And in the same writing
these rather profound words are stated
that would be totally rejected by the
teachers, philosophers and scholars of
this world, is the warning:
“Hence, O beloved
Clement", proclaims Peter,
“if you would
know the things pertaining to God, you
have to learn them from Him alone,
because He alone knows the truth. For if
any one else knows anything, he has
received it from Him or from His
disciples”. And even more
profound is the warning that it is
impossible for carnal man in his organic
state of mind, to perceive and
understand the true meaning of the
scriptures -- i.e., in the words of
Peter:
"...therefore great care is to be taken,
that when the law of God is read, it be
not read according to the understanding
of our own mind. For there are many
sayings in the divine Scriptures which
can be drawn to that sense which every
one has preconceived for himself; and
this ought not to be done. For you ought
not to seek a foreign and extraneous
sense, which you have brought from
without". Which means that
those who proclaim they know Jesus, have
all been greatly deceived -- and all the
knowledge that people think they have,
is pseudo-knowledge from the perspective
of True Gnosis/Divine Manna of the
Kingdom. And since the vast majority of
people reject the necessary life and
mindset that enables them to be taught
directly by the True Prophet, they dwell
in this world under the illusion of
knowledge. In order to learn from the
True Prophet, you must become the
"good ground"
in the parable of the Sower and the Seed
(see
Sower And The Seed ) -- transform
your body and mind into the
Final Temple -- and you must live
and manifest the Truth that you have
received in word, thought, desire and
deed. And it was for this reason that
Jesus said that only the very few will
enter into Life (
http://GateOfEden.com ).
From the
perspective of the sin that defiles the
necessary wedding garment -- which sin
causes the person to be cast out into
the "outer
darkness" of mind and being
-- is the Spiritual Adultery of seeking
teachers in this world -- instead of
living the necessary Consecrated Life in
TheWay that enables the seeker to enter
into and sustain a Spiritual Marriage
with the Son of God that dwells at the
core essence of our being.
Faux-Christians Who Are Not Christian:
Who is a Christian? From a
biblical perspective this reality is
expressed in the words:
"Not everyone
who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall
enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who
does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in Your
name, cast out demons in Your name, and
done many wonders in Your name?' And
then I will declare to them, 'I never
knew you; depart from Me, you who
practice lawlessness!'" (Matt
7:21-23 NKJ). If the Lord
NEVER KNEW THEM, then this would mean
that they were never a Christian.
Regardless of the fact that these people
who called themselves Christians stood
before the people -- even in their
pulpits, and "prophesied"
in the name of the Lord.
They "cast out
demons" in the name of the
Lord. And did
"many wonders"
in the name of the Lord.
They were themselves baptized.
They in all likely manner performed
baptism on others who were themselves
faux-Christians -- all of whom the
Gospels declare were never known by the
Lord, and cannot therefore even be
called a Christian. By definition,
those who fail to put on the required
and approved wedding garment of
Spiritual Baptism, are not Christian --
or by any name, neither are they
followers of Jesus.
It
is a fact that all of mankind are born
into ignorance and unknowing.
Therefore, it is not a sin to be
ignorant -- only to reject Knowledge and
continue to choose the broad-way of
ignorance when one is confronted with
the Truth and TheWay. In the case of
Christians, while it is true that they
were indoctrinated into the
shadow-church of this world that
promotes the dogma of the
Religion of Roman Emperors, when a
Christian repents from their sins of
ignorance -- receiving the Sacrament of
Spiritual Baptism in the Lord -- and the
Christian strives to make the thoughts
of their heart pure -- then they are
bestowed with the Gift of Grace and
Redemption from the sins associated with
their past ignorance.
And this
redemption and grace is seen in the
words of Peter as preserved in the
Homilies of Clement:
"But now I lead
you to understanding by the same paths.
For you see that all things are produced
from waters. But water was made at first
by the Only-begotten; and the Almighty
God is the head of the Only-begotten, by
whom we come to the Father in such order
as we have stated above. But when you
have come to the Father you will learn
that this is His will, that you be born
anew by means of waters, which were
first created. For he who is regenerated
by water, having filled up the measure
of good works, is made heir of Him by
whom he has been regenerated in
incorruption.
Wherefore, with
prepared minds, approach as sons to a
Father, that your sins may be washed
away, and it may be proved before God
that ignorance was their sole cause.
For if, after the learning of these
things, you remain in unbelief, the
cause of your destruction will be
imputed to yourselves, and not to
ignorance.
And do you suppose that you can have
hope towards God, even if you cultivate
all piety and all righteousness, but do
not receive baptism. Yea rather, he will
be worthy of greater punishment, who
does good works not well; for merit
accrues to men from good works, but only
if they be done as God commands. Now God
has ordered every one who worships Him
to be sealed by baptism; but if you
refuse, and obey your own will rather
than God’s, you are doubtless contrary
and hostile to His Will.
Baptism is
representative of the cleansing of the
physical body and mind -- and without
the desire and actions to bring about
the cleansing, the sacrament invokes
judgment upon the person.
Therefore, the Sacrament of Baptism can
only proceed when a believer who has
heard TheCall of the Lord, desires to be
clothed in the
"wedding garment" of
spiritual purity, and desires
wholeheartedly to become betrothed to
the Bridegroom of the Soul, and enter
into a Holy and Consecrated Union with
the Son of God. Thus, quoting the
words of Peter that has been preserved
in the Homilies of his disciple Clement,
Peter states that the Lord "...has
commanded us to go forth to preach, and
to invite you to the supper of the
heavenly King, which the Father hath
prepared for the marriage of His Son,
and that we should give you wedding
garments, that is, the grace of baptism;
which whosoever obtains, as a spotless
robe with which he is to enter to the
supper of the King, ought to beware that
it be not in any part of it stained with
sin, and so he be rejected as unworthy
and reprobate." And of the
Sacrament of Baptism Peter explained
that: "But when
you have come to the Father you will
learn that this is His will, that you be
born anew by means of waters, which were
first created. For he who is regenerated
by water, having filled up the measure
of good works, is made heir of Him by
whom he has been regenerated in
incorruption.
Wherefore, with
prepared minds, approach as sons to a
Father, that your sins may be washed
away, and it may be proved before God
that ignorance was their sole cause...".
Thus, those who come to TheCall are
redeemed from past sins by virtue of the
fact that
"...that ignorance was their sole cause"
. But having put on the wedding
garment of baptism, the disciple who is
seeking to be joined to the Son of God,
must totally refrain from any future sin
that is willfully engaged in.
The Pure
Gospel Sacrament of Baptism is very
different than the traditional baptism
that has come into practice. While we
use water in the ceremony, the water is
an allegorical symbol of the necessary
inward cleansing of the mind and body
that is necessary to be a true Bride of
Christ. Jesus taught that the Kingdom
is within each of us (see
Inner Kingdom) -- and the Sacrament
of Baptism is the environment where an
inner Spiritual Union and Marriage with
the Bridegroom is able to be brought
about by the faithful disciple of the
Living Christ. And it is for this
reason that it was taught that
"...I
advise not only wise men, but indeed all
men who have a desire of knowing what is
advantageous to them, that they seek
after the true Prophet; for it is He
alone who knoweth all things, and who
knoweth what and how every man is
seeking.
For He is within the mind of every one
of us" -- which is why Paul
commanded all Christians to
"…take
captive every thought to make it
obedient to Christ"
(2 Cor 10:5 NIV).
Because the Son of God dwells within the
mind of every person -- and he knows the
substance of our thoughts and mindset as
stated in the Original Gospel teachings
that "...but in
those who have no desire of the
knowledge of God and His righteousness,
He is inoperative; but He works in those
who seek after that which is profitable
to their souls, and kindles in them the
light of knowledge." Thus,
by the thoughts of our heart are we able
to connect with the Indwelling Son of
God -- as stated in Proverbs 4:23:
"Watch over
your heart with all diligence, For from
it flow the springs of life."
And therefore it is the Original
Teachings that the Son of God
"...knows the
thoughts of every one".
Because the Kingdom of God is within us
-- that every person is a divine
expression of our Heavenly Father -- and
we draw near to Him with the Thoughts of
our Heart -- and as stated in the
Original Teachings that if a disciple
strives to
"...empty his mind of all wickedness,
and conceive a pure and faithful desire
to know Him.
For when any one
has so prepared himself, He Himself as a
prophet, seeing a mind prepared for Him,
of His own accord offers Himself to his
knowledge”.
It is taught
that the required
"wedding garment" is the
Sacrament of Baptism in the parable of
TheCall to the Wedding Feast of the
Bridegroom. Only those who are
desirous of living the necessary
Consecrated Life in TheWay -- not bound
by the sins of this world -- should come
to TheCall and enter into a Divine
Covenant with the Lord. When a
disciple seeks to enter into this Divine
Covenant, they must live in the Light of
TheWay and cease to be bound by the sins
of this world -- as stated in the
Original Teachings that
"For he that
hath received remission of sins ought no
longer to sin, but to dwell in purity.
...But I say unto you', saith he, `if
after this great and holy calling any
one, being tempted of the devil, shall
commit sin, he hath only one
(opportunity of) repentance."
Which is why Paul stated that "For
it is impossible to restore again to
repentance those who ...then commit
apostasy, since they crucify the Son of
God on their own account and hold him up
to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately
after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, there no longer remains a
sacrifice for sins, but a fearful
prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire
which will consume the adversaries."
Because the
Lord knows the Thoughts of the Heart, He
empowers the sincere disciple to live
apart from the sins of this world. And
the more that the Divine Union with the
Indwelling Son of God is Solemnized
through the thoughts of the heart that
are pure and worthy of a Consecrated
Life, the greater the union of the
baptized disciple with the Indwelling
Son of God can be brought about. The
disciple is therefore instructed:
"Wherefore, with
prepared minds, approach as sons to a
Father, that your sins may be washed
away, and it may be proved before God
that ignorance was their sole cause."
And if the donning of the wedding
garment is truly the desire of our
(brother/sister) who is requesting to
receive the Sacrament of Baptism, then I
am commissioned to repeat the words that
were conveyed to me by the Lord and
state: "As a
Servant of TheWay, I Baptize you into
the Spirit of God our Father -- I
Baptize you into the Christ -- I Baptize
you into the Holy Spirit, and may you
find within, the Kingdom of Heaven."
Therefore I
ask our (brother/sister) NAME, do you
seek to be Baptized into the Spirit of
God our Father? Do you seek to be
Baptized into the Christ? Do you seek
to be Baptized into the Holy Spirit --
our Divine Mother ? And in your
receiving the wedding garment of
Baptism, you are told to go forth in
your Journey in TheWay and seek the
Inner Kingdom of Light that is within
you.
The
Allotment Of Talents To The Invited
Guests: In the parable of TheCall
to the Wedding Banquette, Christians cannot even
begin to understand why some people are
categorized as
"invited guests", while
others are not. From a
purely dogmatic and doctrinal
perspective, a modern Christian is only
required to say their prayer accepting
Jesus as their personal lord and savior
to receive the Promise of the Gospel -- but is this factual and true from an
Original
Gospel perspective? After
accepting Jesus as their personal lord
and savior, the modern Christian
believes they are free to go about their
business and normal affairs of life with
no other requirements -- being saved by
faith apart from works or actions.
Yet, in the version of TheCall to the
Banquette in Luke, Jesus states:
"But one after
another, they all began to make excuses.
The first one said, ‘I have bought a
field and I need to go see it. Please
excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I have bought
five yoke of oxen and I am going to try
them out. Please excuse’ me. Still
another said, ‘I have married a wife, so
I cannot come’" (Luke
14:17-24) -- and yet, because these
invited guests did not abandon their
obligations of this world, and come to
TheCall, it is stated that:
"For I tell
you, none of those men who were invited
shall taste my banquet”
-- which presents the fact
that a believer or invited guest can't
continue in their normal life in the
manner they are accustomed to living,
and there are requirements set forth for
the invited guests to fulfill.
Quoting the prayer which has come to be
accepted by modern Christians:
"You must
believe in salvation by grace alone, and
that salvation is immediate and eternal
upon acceptance of Jesus as a one-time
sacrifice for your sins, and not
obtained through works, sacraments,
traditions or merits of our own".
The teaching that this is
"...a one-time
sacrifice for your sins, and not
obtained through works, sacraments,
traditions or merits of our own" --
means that no other actions or
requirements are necessary for the
believer who repeats the prayer.
To
understand what is being stated in the
foregoing with respect to the invited
and not-invited guests, one must
understand from the perspective of the
parable of the talents -- i.e.,
"And
to one he gave five talents, to another
two, and to another one,
to each according to his own ability;
and immediately he went on a journey"
(Matt 25:15 NKJ). The key concept here
is that each person was not only
entrusted with a different amount, but
that each person was entrusted with an
amount "...each
according to his own ability."
When rightly
understood within the construct of the
original Gospel teachings prior to being
corrupted by the Church,
each person is given their lot in life in
accordance with this predetermined
criteria of what each soul has accomplished in their
own
past. Further, what Jesus taught was that
what the spiritually poor people
possessed, would even be taken away and
be given to those who had an abundance:
“Therefore take
the talent from him, and give it to him
who has ten talents. For to everyone who
has, more will be given, and he will
have abundance; but from him who does
not have, even what he has will be taken
away” (Matt 25:28-29 NKJ).
Thus, on the surface, Jesus appears to
be a Robin Hood in reverse -- take from
the poor, and give to the rich.
One of the
many paradoxes that confront the
believer is explored in these biblical
verses by the Wycliffe Commentary
which writes:
“Herein is the crux of the
interpretation. If this reckoning is the
judgment of the believer's works, then
we apparently have a true believer
suffering the loss of his soul because
of the barrenness of his works. But that
interpretation would contradict John
5:24. Or, if the unprofitable servant
represents a mere professing Christian,
whose real nature is thus unmasked, then
it appears that the judgment of
believers' works and the damnation of
sinners occur together, although
Revelation 20 separates these judgments
by 1,000 years”.
What does
John 5:24 say?
“I tell you the truth, whoever hears
my word and believes him who sent me has
eternal life and will not be condemned;
he has crossed over from death to life”
(John 5:24 NIV). What we must
recognize is the fact that there is only
a contradiction with respect to our
interpretation of the word belief. The
Bible is very clear that those people
who claim an allegiance to the teachings
of the Lord, and
yet continue to live in the manner of
unbelievers, are themselves
self-condemned; as seen in the words:
“Not everyone who
says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the
kingdom of heaven, but only he who does
the will of my Father who is in heaven”
(Matt 7:21 NIV). Thus,
belief is sustained through a person's
actions -- and only those
who actually live in accordance with the
Royal Law of God, and do the Will of the
Father, are those of whom John 5:24
states will be saved.
The problem
is that these verses, as in the
twentieth chapter of the Revelation and
many other places in the Bible, appear
to declare two conflicting doctrines --
i.e., some state that believers get into
heaven on the basis of their profession
of faith, while other biblical passages
clearly state that the believer will be
held accountable for their deeds. With
regard to the requirement of works, in
the parable of the
Sower And The Seed Jesus clearly
warned believers that they are required
to increase what has been given to them:
“…multiplying
thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times”
what was initially received (Mark 4:8
NIV). Yet, as the Wycliffe
Commentary points out, John 5:24 is
one of those seemingly all-inclusive
verses which appear to generally state
that all believers will be saved -- but
who is a believer? And from a
spiritual perspective, who is able to
hear the word -- i.e.,
"...whoever
hears my word"
-- and do we understand the words from a
spiritual perspective:
"...he has
crossed over from death to life”???
Paul goes
even one step further and warns that if
any believer intentionally sins after
coming to the Gospel teachings, that
there is no longer a sacrifice for their
sins, and they are doomed to destruction.
Based upon the dogma of Martin Luther,
modern Christians maintain that they are
saved by faith totally apart from their
actions and works -- and their salvation
is guaranteed from the moment they
accept Jesus as their personal Lord and
Savior. But is this the original
teachings of Jesus? The Flawed
Doctrine Of Perpetual Redemption totally
ignores the many statements by Paul
where he warns:
"For it is impossible to restore
again to repentance those who ...then
commit apostasy, since they crucify the
Son of God on their own account and hold
him up to contempt.. For if we sin
deliberately after receiving the
knowledge of the truth, there no longer
remains a sacrifice for sins, but a
fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury
of fire which will consume the
adversaries." (Heb
6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). Why did Paul make
such a statement? Because the original
Gospel teachings in their original form
was one of spiritual transformation -- a
process that would evolve the mind of
the seeker/disciple from their embryonic
condition, to that of spiritual maturity
and Wholeness -- and those who reject
these teachings and fall back into the
thinking and lifestyle of this world --
who willfully sin after coming to the
knowledge of the Gospel message -- are
not only unbelievers and apostates to
the teachings of the Gospels, but in
Paul's words these counterfeit believers
crucify the Son of God afresh -- and, in
total opposition to what is preached in
the modern Churches, Paul warns that
"...there no
longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but
a fearful prospect of judgment, and a
fury of fire which will consume the
adversaries." These, and
other such spiritual concepts, were
totally unacceptable to the fourth
century heathen Church of Rome -- and
while these few passages continue to
exist, the scriptures were corrupted
(see
http://BibleCorruption.com ) in
order to make the Gospels support the
doctrines of a series of Roman Emperors
who ruled over the Church from the
fourth century onward. That the
Church has abandoned the original
teachings of Jesus -- to the degree that
when it is proven that the fourth
century Church even edited and corrupted
the very words of God spoken to man (see
http://TheTenWords.com ) -- means
that until the Church itself repents of
this great sin against the Holy Spirit,
they will remain under a cloud of
ignorance in an exiled state in a
Spiritual Diaspora.
The
Talents And Each Person's Spiritual DNA:
All of the above provokes the question:
What is the determining factor as to why
one servant was given
"one talent",
another was given
"two talents", while
another was given
"five talents"? It
is virtually impossible for modern
Christians to answer this question,
because a Roman Emperor suppressed and
outlawed the teaching on the
pre-existent soul that evolves to
perfection over the course of many
lifetimes (see
The Religion Of Roman Emperors).
And that each person enters this life in
accord with the past accomplishments of
their soul -- i.e.,
"...each according
to his own ability".
The
pre-Nicene (325 CE) Church Father Origen
correctly wrote that
“Every soul...
comes into this world strengthened by
the victories or weakened by the defeats
of its previous life” (Origen,
De Principiis). That the
Religion Of Roman Emperors removed
important biblical teachings that
conveyed this reality to the seeker,
does not in any manner negate the
spiritual facts of what is being conveyed.
That this world can very much be
portrayed as God's Divine School House,
means that those who are complacent to
the purpose of this world, have brought
failure upon themselves -- regardless of
what they proclaim with their lips.
Christians are those who do as the
Gospel account of Jesus teaches -- and
not blindly believe and proclaim faith
in the
Religion Of Roman Emperors. These
are the facts: The Gospel account of
Jesus has him stating that only those
who
properly utilize the Key of Knowledge,
and who seek out and enter in at the
"narrow strait
gate", can enter into life
(see
The Seventh Fatal Mistake). And to
the detriment of the people, the
Religion Of Roman Emperors has
dogmatically stated that Jesus was wrong
-- and have peddled exemptions to the
very purpose and objectives of life for
their own monetary and political
gain. And thus, my own objective and
purpose is to convey to seekers the
Truth of the Gospel Teachings -- and to
present to them the means to prove the
Truth within themselves by doing as
Jesus commanded -- by properly utilizing
the Key of Knowledge to enter in at the
"narrow strait
gate", where the Truth of all
Truths can be directly revealed to them
from their Heavenly Father.
In
the same way that a child inherits the
genetic traits of its parents, each
person inherits the Spiritual DNA of
their soul which has existed since the
dawn of time. It can in fact be stated
that the soul of each person is the
cumulative manifestation of all the
lifetimes that that soul has ever lived
-- and the Light of the Soul is the
level of Wholeness across the Seven
Kingdoms achieved in these lives (see
The Source Of Soul-Light ).
The historical man Jesus became the
Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by evolving
and perfecting himself over the course
of many lifetimes. This fact is
reflected in the original Gospels where
Jesus became the (adopted) Son of God at
his baptism in the Jordan (see
TheTenWords.com ) -- but the
biblical texts were edited by the fourth
century Church of Constantine in order
to recreate Jesus as the latest
incarnation of the Mithraic sun-god.
Yet, the authorities and counterfeit
shepherds of the
Religion Of Roman Emperors has
convinced the congregation of
faith-based believers that those who
walked daily with the man Jesus --
discussed all questions pertaining to
man, God and man's relationship to God,
did not possess the intelligence to
comprehend what Jesus taught and
conveyed to them. And when they
dogmatically corrupted even the very
words that witnesses stated God spoke
directly to mankind (see
TheTenWords.com ), the counterfeit
shepherds of the
Religion Of Roman Emperors promoted
the dogma that not even God possessed
the Knowledge of His relationship to the
man Jesus. So they corrupted the very
Words of God in order to make them
support the tenets of the religion of
Mithra -- i.e., the worship of the
sun-god who is reborn on December 25th
when the sun begins its process of
rebirth and begins its climb back into the northern hemisphere.
While there are countless similarities
which have been explored between
Mithraism and Christianity, the most
profound difference is seen in the fact
that in accord with the original Gospel
accounts and the primary witnesses who
had spoken directly to the historical
Jesus, there was no place in these
original teachings of Jesus as God
Incarnate.
What
the original Ten Words spoken by the
Father to mankind presented, was that
the original
Ebionite
Nazirene
disciples of Jesus remained totally
faithful to the Gospel teachings. If,
as the very words of God spoken to
mankind stated, that Jesus became the
Messiah (Anointed/Christ) and Son of God
by living the necessary Consecrated Life
that enabled him to fulfill the Law
within himself, then the truth of the
Gospel is found in the witness of the
Ebionites
who held firmly to the position that
Jesus "...was
justified by fulfilling the Law. He was
the Christ of God, since not one of the
rest of mankind had observed the Law
completely. Had any one else fulfilled
the commandments of the Law, he would
have been the Christ,
for they assert that our Lord Himself
was a man in like sense with all
humanity" (see
Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer.
vii. 34). When the
Ebionite
Nazirenes
make reference to the Law, this very
much includes the Laws of Creation as
portrayed in the words
"...the designs/laws found throughout
Nature and all of Creation".
That the historical man Jesus became the
pattern for all of mankind portrayed as
the lost prodigal sons, because of his
success in overcoming the Laws and
returning to the Kingdom of Origination,
is demonstrated in the words:
"He was the Christ
of God, since not one of the rest of
mankind had observed the Law completely.
Had any one else fulfilled the
commandments of the Law, he would have
been the Christ..." And
this confirms this statement with
respect to the true potential of all of
mankind that Jesus taught, as
demonstrated in the words of Hippolytus
when he wrote that they believed that
when anyone
"...thus fulfill the law, they are able
to become Christs" (Hippolytus,
Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see
http://Ebionite.com ). And this is
especially demonstrated in the words of
Edward Gibbon with respect to the
original meaning of the Gospel before
being edited and corrupted, where it was
stated that the Ebionite Nazirene
disciples of Jesus who walked with him
daily -- talked and learned about God
and the meaning of Life directly from
Jesus -- that he was in
“...supernatural
union of a man and God... In their eyes,
Jesus of Nazareth was a mere mortal, the
legitimate son of Joseph and Mary: but
he was the best and wisest of the human
race, selected as the worthy instrument
to restore upon earth the worship of the
true and supreme Deity. When he was
baptized in the Jordan, the Christ, the
first of the aeons, the Son of God
himself, descended on Jesus in the form
of a dove, to inhabit his mind, and
direct his actions during the allotted
period of his ministry”
(Gibbon; The Decline & Fall of the Roman
Empire, V.4, P.366). And this is
why Jesus taught that he was our brother
-- i.e., "Go
instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I
am returning to my Father and your
Father, to my God and your God'"
(John 20:17 NIV). In the same way that
Jesus became the Anointed
(Messiah/Christ) by evolving to a state
of spiritual maturity over the course of
many lifetimes, so too was the original
disciples with him over the course of
these previous lifetimes -- and each of
the core disciples were themselves
highly evolved spiritual souls who
entered into that life to support the
historical man Jesus in his quest to
fulfill the Law within himself, and
evolve to a state of Spiritual
Completion.
In the words of the third
century Church Father Origen -- the man
St. Gregory of Nyssa called “the
prince of Christian learning in the
Third Century”:
“We have
frequently shown”, writes
Origen, “by
those declarations which we were able to
produce from the holy Scriptures, that
God, the Creator of all things, is good,
and just, and all-powerful… But since
those rational creatures themselves, as
we have frequently shown, and will yet
show in the proper place, were endowed
with the power of free-will, this
freedom of will incited each one
either to
progress by imitation of God, or reduced
him to failure through negligence…
Now God, who deemed it just to arrange
His creatures according to their merit,
brought down these different
understandings into the harmony of one
world, that He might adorn, as it were,
one dwelling, in which there ought to be
not only vessels of gold and silver, but
also of wood and clay (and some indeed
to honor, and others to dishonor), with
those different vessels, or souls, or
understandings. And these are the
causes… why that world presents the
aspect of diversity, while Divine
Providence continues to regulate each
individual according to the variety of
his movements, or of his feelings and
purpose. On which account the Creator
will neither appear to be unjust in
distributing (for the causes already
mentioned)
to every
one according to his merits; nor will
the happiness or unhappiness of each
one's birth, or whatever be the
condition that falls to his lot, be
deemed accidental;
nor will different creators, or souls of
different natures, be believed to exist”
(De Principiis, Bk 2 Ch 9).
What Origen is stating is
that, in the beginning, each soul was
created equal and the same, and their
place in life is not the result of an
accident, or the indiscriminate
manifestation of God's Will in the form
of Divine Providence -- but rather, each
soul's lot in life is the result of the
exercise of their own freewill, and
consequently is arranged
“according to
their merit”. This merit is
not the result of some unknown condition
-- but rather, is imposed upon each
individual in accordance with what they
have accomplished in the previous
lives their soul has lived. Actions have consequences --
both good, bad, and even indifferent.
And that the result of our own actions
come back upon us -- which means that
each of us is constantly confronting
self -- is the manner in which each
individual soul evolves to perfection
over the course of however many
lifetimes is required to complete the
process of mental and spiritual
evolution.
Origen then goes on to
demonstrate this truth by using the very
example which the Apostle Paul gave with
regard to why Paul wrote that God hated
Esau, and loved Jacob -- even before
they were born into that life -- making
reference to Paul's words: So it
is written at Romans 9:13-14: “Jacob
I loved, but Esau I hated.”
What
then
shall we say?
Is
God
unjust?
Absolutely not!
For He says to Moses: “I will
have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I
will have compassion on whom I have
compassion." With the
teachings on the pre-existent soul
removed, it remains virtually impossible
for the modern Christian to understand
why God hated Esau and loved Jacob even
before they were born into that life.
And we can see the modern dogmatic void
in Origen's answer when he
writes: “‘What
shall we say then? Is there
unrighteousness with God?' And that he
might furnish us with an opportunity of
inquiring into these matters, and of
ascertaining how these things do not
happen without a reason, he answers
himself, and says, 'God forbid.' For the
same question, as it seems to me, which
is raised concerning Jacob and Esau, may
be raised regarding all celestial and
terrestrial creatures, and even those of
the lower world as well. And in like
manner it seems to me, that as he there
says, 'The children being not yet born,
neither having done any good or evil,'
so it might also be said of all other
things, 'When they were not yet'
created, 'neither had yet done any good
or evil, that the decree of God
according to election may stand,' that
(as certain think) some things on the
one hand were created heavenly, some on
the other earthly, and others, again,
beneath the earth, 'not of works' (as
they think), 'but of Him who calleth,'
what shall we say then, if these things
are so? 'Is there unrighteousness with
God? God forbid.' As, therefore, when
the Scriptures are carefully examined
regarding Jacob and Esau, it is not
found to be unrighteousness with God
that it should be said, before they were
born, or had done anything in this life,
'the elder shall serve the younger;' and
as it is found not to be unrighteousness
that even in the womb Jacob supplanted
his brother, if we feel that he was
worthily beloved by God, according to
the deserts of his previous life, so as
to deserve to be preferred before his
brother”.
God did not hate Esau and
love Jacob for no reason! To even
believe such a preposterous concept of
Divine Wisdom, is to affirm Peter's
assertion that the Gentiles believe
these absurdities because
“their
minds are accustomed to take in things
spoken against God" (see
Books With The Power To Deceive).
Respecting the Divine Order of Creation,
Origen then continues referring to
Paul’s Epistle to the Romans and goes on
to explain:
“For God must be believed to do and
order all things and at all times
according to His judgment. For the words
which the apostle uses when he says, ‘In
a great house there are not only vessels
of gold and silver, but also of wood and
of earth, and some to honor and some to
dishonor;' and those which he adds,
saying, 'If a man purge himself, he will
be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and
meet for the Master's use, unto every
good work,' undoubtedly point out this,
that he who shall purge himself when he
is in this life, will be prepared for
every good work in that which is to
come; while he who does not purge
himself will be, according to the amount
of his impurity, a vessel unto dishonor,
i.e., unworthy. It is therefore possible
to understand that there have been also
formerly rational vessels, whether
purged or not, i.e., which either purged
themselves or did not do so,
and that consequently every vessel,
according to the measure of its purity
or impurity, received a place, or
region, or condition by birth, or an
office to discharge, in this world.
All of
which, down to the humblest, God
providing for and distinguishing by the
power of His wisdom, arranges all things
by His controlling judgment, according
to a most impartial retribution, so far
as each one ought to be assisted or
cared for in conformity with his
deserts. In which certainly every
principle of equity is shown, while the
inequality of circumstances preserves
the justice of a retribution according
to merit. But the grounds of the merits
in each individual case are only
recognized truly and clearly by God
Himself, along with His only-begotten
Word, and His Wisdom, and the Holy
Spirit”.
Origen again demonstrates
that our lot in life is the result of
our own soul's previous deeds and actions, and writes:
“For God the
Creator makes a certain vessel unto
honor, and other vessels to dishonor;
but that vessel which has cleansed
itself from all impurity He makes a
vessel unto honor, while that which has
stained itself with the filth of vice He
makes a vessel unto dishonor. The
conclusion from which, accordingly, is
this,
that the
cause of each one's actions is a
pre-existing one; and then every one,
according to his deserts, is made by God
either a vessel unto honor or dishonor.
Therefore every individual vessel has
furnished to its Creator out of itself
the causes and occasions of its being
formed by Him to be either a vessel unto
honor or one unto dishonor.
And if the
assertion appear correct, as it
certainly is, and in harmony with all
piety, that it is due to previous causes
that every vessel be prepared by God
either to honor or to dishonor, it does
not appear absurd that, in discussing
remoter causes in the same order, and in
the same method, we should come to the
same conclusion respecting the nature of
souls, and (believe) that this was the
reason why Jacob was beloved before he
was born into this world, and Esau
hated, while he still was contained in
the womb of his mother”.
On the
pre-Nicene teaching on the pre-existent
Soul, St. Jerome (340-420) wrote:
“The doctrine
of transmigration (reincarnation) has
been secretly taught from ancient times
to small numbers of people, as a
traditional truth which was not to be
divulged” In the
approximate year of 178 of our Common
Era, Celsus, the Epicurean Philosopher
and opponent of Christianity, published
a rather embarrassing work in opposition
to Christianity known as The True
Word or Discourse, which portrayed
the Church as a
"secret system" which
taught the elect the doctrine of the
soul that evolves to perfection over the
course of many lifetimes, while teaching
the unenlightened entry-level Christians
the doctrine of Heaven and Hell. It
is said that this work was widely
published and used by the Pagan world as
an attack on the Church. Seventy years
after its publication The True Word
was still so widely circulated, that the
Church Father Origen was commissioned by
St. Ambrosius to refute this attack by
Celsus. Among the official reply to
Celsus by the Church is this teaching:
"Is it not
rational that souls should be introduced
into bodies, in accordance with their
merits and previous deeds, and that
those who have used their bodies in
doing the utmost possible good should
have the right to bodies endowed with
qualities superior to the bodies of
others?... The soul, which is immaterial
and invisible in its nature, exists in
no material place without having a body
suited to the nature of that place;
accordingly, it at one time puts off one
body, which was necessary before, but
which is no longer adequate in its
changed state, and it exchanges it for a
second". And in his famed
work De Principiis the Church Father
Origen explains:
"The soul has neither beginning nor
end... Every soul... comes into this
world strengthened by the victories or
weakened by the defeats of its previous
life. Its place in this world as a
vessel appointed to honor or dishonor is
determined by its previous merits or
demerits. Its work in this world
determines its place in the world which
is to follow this..." This
was the official position and doctrine
of the Christianity prior to the
take-over of the Church by the Emperor
Constantine in the year 325AD. And the
teachings of Origen and the Church
Fathers on the pre-existent soul were
embraced until being condemned by the
Emperor Justinian in the year 553.
Because the Church since the Roman
take-over has embraced the manmade
doctrines of the Emperors who ruled over
the Church and its accepted doctrines of
belief, the faithful flock has remained
entry-level and spiritually
disenfranchised throughout the
intervening centuries.
In the year
553 the Emperor Justinian convened the
5th Ecumenical Council where, quoting
the Catholic Encyclopedia,
"...the council opened on 5 May, 553, in
spite of the protestations of Pope
Vigilius, who though at Constantinople,
refused to attend it... before the
opening of the council, which had been
delayed by the resistance of the pope,
the bishops already assembled at
Constantinople had to consider, by order
of the emperor, a form of Origenism that
had practically nothing in common with
Origen..."
Quoting the Britannica:
"After the council, Justinian banished
the pope to
Egypt ,
and afterwards to an island, until he
accepted the Council, which he
ultimately did."
The result is that the very foundational
doctrines that are necessary to begin to
mature beyond an elementary level, were
not only anathema -- but have yet to be
corrected to this very day. In the
same way that the religious doctrines of
the pagan emperors were imposed on the
church in the fourth century, this
remained true into the sixth century
when the doctrine of the pre-existent
soul was outlawed.
When Jesus warned the man
"...sin no more,
lest a worse thing come unto thee"
-- he confirmed the doctrine that all
the calamities of life is caused by
man's sin and disobedience to the Royal
Law of God -- i.e.,
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be
mocked. A man reaps what he sows”
(Gal 6:7 NIV).
On the question itself that the
disciples of Jesus asked -- i.e.,
Master, who did sin? -- the commentary
Barnes’ Notes writes that:
"It was a universal opinion among the
Jews that calamities of all kinds were
the effects of sin. The case, however,
of this man was that of one that was
blind from his birth, and it was a
question which the disciples could not
determine whether it was his fault or
that of his parents. Many of the Jews,
as it appears from their writings (see
Lightfoot), believed in the doctrine of
the transmigration of souls; or that the
soul of a man, in consequence of sin,
might be compelled to pass into other
bodies, and be punished there. They also
believed that an infant might sin before
it was born (see Lightfoot), and that
consequently this blindness might have
come upon the child as a consequence of
that".
On the question of who did sin, this
man, or his parents, and the
pre-existence and reincarnation of the
soul, the Adam Clarke Commentary tells
us:
"The doctrine of the transmigration of
souls appears to have been an article in
the creed of the Pharisees, and it was
pretty general both among the Greeks and
the Asiatics. The Pythagoreans believed
the souls of men were sent into other
bodies for the punishment of some sin
which they had committed in a
pre-existent state. This seems to have
been the foundation of the disciples’
question to our Lord. Did this man sin
in a pre-existent state, that he is
punished in this body with blindness?
Or, did his parents commit some sin, for
which they are thus plagued in their
offspring!... The Jewish rabbis have had
the same belief from the very remotest
antiquity. Origen cites an apocryphal
book of the Hebrews, in which the
patriarch Jacob is made to speak thus: I
am an angel of God; one of the first
order of spirits. Men call me Jacob, but
my true name, which God has given me, is
Israel: Orat. Joseph. apud ORIG. Many of
the Jewish doctors have believed that
the souls of Adam, Abraham, and Phineas,
have successively animated the great men
of their nation. Philo says that the air
is full of spirits, and that some,
through their natural propensity, join
themselves to bodies; and that others
have an aversion from such a union. See
several other things relative to this
point in his treatises, De Plant. Noe--
De Gigantibus-- De Confus. Ling.-- De
Somniis, etc.; and see Calmet, where he
is pretty largely quoted".
Did the Jews in the first century
believe in the pre-existent soul? The
Hastings-Scribner Dictionary Of The
Bible (New York, 1903. Bk 4, p. 63)
"To affirm that
Jews in Christ's time did not believe in
pre-existence is simply incorrect".
At Genesis 2:7, the Wycliffe Commentary
writes: “Man's
body was fashioned from the dust of the
ground, while his spirit came from the
very ‘breath’ of God. He is literally a
creature of two worlds; both earth and
heaven can claim him”. More
importantly, though, is for us to
clarify our understanding of when the
soul came into existence. Thus, the
Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary
notes the belief of both the Jews and
early Church:
“The... views of Origen and other
Fathers, and the... Talmudists, that all
souls had been created ‘in the
beginning,’ and were lodged by God in a
certain place, whence each one was taken
out to inhabit the respective bodies of
individuals”. In this
respect, it can easily be demonstrated
the first followers of Jesus firmly
believed that the soul pre-existed the
body, and that our present physical
forms are mere vessels that we inhabit
during our sojourn in this life.
That the Pharisees understood that a man
is born blind from the misdeeds of a
previous life is seen in their words to
the man:
"You were born entirely in sins, and are
you teaching us?"
(Jn 9:34 NAS). Moreover, it is well
documented that the Essenes -- who with
the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls
are now understood to be the foundation
of New Covenant teachings -- also
believed in the pre-existence and
transmigration of the soul. In
his Antiquity of the Jews, the Jewish
historian Josephus, who had lived among
the Essenes, and was a contemporary of
the man Jesus, stated that the Essenes:
“…resigned up
their souls with great alacrity, as
expecting to receive them again. For
their doctrine is this, that bodies are
corruptible, and that the matter they
are made of is not permanent; but that
the souls are immortal, and continue for
ever; and that they came out of the most
subtle air, and are united to their
bodies as to prisons, into which they
are drawn by a certain natural
enticement; but that when they are set
free from the bonds of flesh, they then,
as released from a long bondage, rejoice
and mount upward...”.
Once again
what we are presented with is the
determining factor as to why one servant
was given "one
talent", another was given
"two talents",
while another was given
"five talents"?
And that each person enters this life in
accord with the past accomplishments of
their soul -- i.e.,
"...each according
to his own ability".
Those souls who perpetually embrace the
thinking and cultures of this world,
make virtually no spiritual gains -- and
thus, they are portrayed as those who
only receive one talent.
Those prodigal sons and daughters who
have begun to seek Truth by Living the
Truth in word, thought, desire and deed,
are those who received two talents.
And those who over the course of many
lifetimes have been sincere seekers of
Truth and the Inner Kingdom, are those
portrayed as having received five
talents. Thus, the statement
of Truth presented by the Church Father
Origen:
“Every soul...
comes into this world strengthened by
the victories or weakened by the defeats
of its previous life” (Origen,
De Principiis).
Many of
the teachings that were suppressed and
removed by the Roman Church have been
preserved in the
Gospel of Thomas. While
what is revealed in the
Gospel of Thomas saying 84 may sound
strange to the modern Christian, it
represents an important foundational
teaching that was removed from the
Gospels by the later Pagan Church of
Rome (see
http://BibleCorruption.com ). What
is our true nature and form? Our Soul
is our True-Self, and is the Being of
Light that many people encounter in the
published accounts of what is known as
the Near Death Experience (see
Being
Of Light). And one of the
realities
that is unknown today, is the fact that
you need not physically die, in order to
come into the presence of the Being of
Light within you -- i.e., your true
soul-self. In fact, one of the
primary objectives of the Gospel is to
enable the believer to draw near and
actually become At-One with their higher
Soul-Self who is a Being of Light -- and
thereby prevail over the forces of this
world -- manifesting the Heavenly
Kingdom within one's self -- and walking
the earth as a one's true self, a Being
of Light. But herein lies the problem:
Men and Women look at their reflected
image in a mirror, and they think they
are seeing the true being that they
are. And thus, because of man's own
ignorance of his true self and form,
this higher reality could not be
revealed to men of a carnal mindset who
Paul correctly portrays as being of an
"animal-soul"
level of consciousness (see Organic Man
Ruled Over By His Lower Animal Nature
http://SoulSelf.org#AnimalNature ),
it remains impossible for organic man to
grasp the higher realities of the soul
and the Kingdom of God. Yet, if each
person is to overcome the ignorance of
this world with respect to our true
nature and form, then it is important to
begin to recognize the reality of self
that is being portrayed in the Gospel of
Thomas saying 84, and is conveyed in the
words: (84)
Jesus said, "When you see your likeness,
you rejoice. But when you see your
images which came into being before you,
and which neither die nor become
manifest, how much you will have to
bear!" What is being
stated? Saying 84 presents what is
portrayed as YOUR
LIKENESS, and
YOUR IMAGES.
It does not say: When you see God -- and
this is because you dwell within the
reality of your own soul-self -- and it
is your soul-self that is in the above
portrayed as
"your likeness" that dwells
within God. When rightly understood,
we only dwell within God by proxy.
From a
Gospel perspective, that those who can
only receive the one talent in the
parable of the talents (see
Parable Of The Talents), cannot hear
the Living Words spoken of at John 5:24
that permits them to
"...cross over
from death to life” --
because they are the walking dead that
Jesus spoke of who cannot hear or see
beyond the physical (see
The Dead Know Nothing). Why?
Because they are carnal and their
consciousness is grounded in the earth,
and have only advanced through the first
stage of physical birth, they fail to
Know Themselves, and they dwell in the
poverty of darkness which is inherent in
the womb of Mother-Earth -- i.e., the
Gospel of Thomas declares:
"...But if you
will not know yourselves, you dwell in
poverty and it is you who are that
poverty".
Who are
we? What are we? Until you can first
answer these questions, you will remain
totally ignorant of both God and your
own higher soul-reality. We cannot
even be known by God, so long as we
remain a divided expression of our
higher soul-self. Only, when we
overcome our divided natures, and bring
about the next stage of birth where we
manifest our soul and true-self in the
body, can we even begin to Know God.
The Gospel of Thomas states:
"Jesus said,
When you see your likeness, you rejoice"
-- and it is this likeness
that is our own source of Being -- our
soul-self, who is the Being of Light in
the Near Death Experience. And the
Gospel of Thomas asks the question:
"...But when
you see your images which came into
being before you, and which neither die
nor become manifest, how much you will
have to bear!" These
images which came into being before you,
are the past lives that your soul-self
has previously lived, that have all
failed to bring about the next stage of
soul-birth that Jesus taught was
necessary to enter the Kingdom. And
thus, these past images which your Soul
and True-Self has lived, remain within
the House of the Soul as the experiences
of failed lives that never became
manifest. Which means that as a
failed-image, you will neither go to
Glory with God, nor will you reincarnate
-- and lacking the permanence of the
Soul, you will remain forever in the
House of the Soul.
The
reality of man’s plight in this world is
that he is an embryonic image of his
pre-existent soul that has entered into
this realm in order to perfect those
laws and elements that he must
overcome. In the same way that a fetus
is an embryonic copy of its parents, our
mind is an embryonic image of our
soul. In the same way a fetus must
grow and mature in accordance with the
pattern of its parents, our mind must
grow and mature in the pattern of our
soul. When our mind grows in the
culture of this world, and becomes
alienated from our soul, then our life
becomes synonymous with the miscarriage
of a fetus whose defect fails to develop
it in accordance with its physical
genetic pattern. What this means is
that the Original Teaching on the
pre-existent Soul that evolves to
Completion of the course of many
incarnations, has virtually little in
common with the Eastern doctrine of
reincarnation. But the fact that the
failed images of the Soul that did not
become
"manifest" continues to dwell
as a sub-personality within the House of
the Soul, means that both doctrines must
be recognized as
"entry-level", and both
are misconceptions of a higher reality
that "natural"
man in his organic condition of mind, is
incapable of comprehending. The Higher
Reality of the Soul that Paul warns is
incomprehensible from an organic
condition of mind, is explored at
http://SoulSelf.org .
What this
means is that the vast majority of
people don't remember the previous lives
their Soul lived, because the soul-image
that they are in the present, never
lived those previous lives. Yet,
within the Higher Reality of the Soul
all the previous incarnations that are
portrayed as soul-images in the Gospel
of Thomas, continue to live and dwell
within the House or Mind-Matrix of the
Soul. And one of the primary objectives
of the Original Teachings of Jesus and
TheWay, was to free the person they are
in this world from that condition that
Jesus portrayed as the
"outer
darkness" of mind and being (
http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org ),
and open the connection to the being
they are in this world, with their
higher Soul-Self -- and ultimately with
the Final Stage of Birth, to move into a
Condition of At-Oneness with the
Indwelling Logos/Mind of God.
There
are many spiritual levels of believers
and adherents within the Christian
Domain. The Gospel teachings of Jesus
which were originally known as the
teachings of TheWay (The Way), have
within itself all levels from
entry-level to a high and mature
expression of spirituality. And while
the entry-level is based upon faith and
belief, the higher levels of spiritual
maturity embody a Wholistic mindset and
lifestyle necessary to transform the
body-mind into a Living Temple that
enables the Spiritual Christian to fully
embrace the Pattern of the Christ, by
symbolically picking up their own cross
and travailing in TheWay in Imitation of
the man Jesus. Thus, while the
entry-level Christian has few
requirements other than faith and
belief, the more Advanced Spiritual
Christian has many requirements that
enables him/her to fulfill the adage to
be in the world and not of it.
The
Original teachings of Jesus and TheWay
was a system of Spiritual Advancement
that brought about Wholeness. While
very little is expected of the
entry-level faith-based believer, as the
Christian advances, and greater
Knowledge and Spirituality is attained,
these more Mature Christians are
required to live in accord with the
Direct Revelation that has been bestowed
upon them. As stated in the Gospels: “That
servant who knows his master's will and
does not get ready or does not do what
his master wants will be beaten with
many blows. But the one who does not
know and does things deserving
punishment will be beaten with few
blows. From everyone who has been given
much, much will be demanded; and from
the one who has been entrusted with
much, much more will be asked”
(Luke 12:47-48 NIV). Thus, with
Spiritual Maturity and the Acquisition
of Direct Knowledge from the Indwelling
Logos/Son of God/True
Prophet, having received the greater
carries with it the requirement to live
in strict accord with that level of
Divine Manna (Spiritual Knowledge) that
has been received.
This
article is a Spiritual Abstract that is
in summary -- and as such, is dependent
upon the hyperlinked articles upon which
it is built. Mature Spiritual Christian
are neither blind believers, nor are
they ignorant of man's higher soul and
spiritual reality. The very word
Christian portrays one who in a
spiritually mature condition of mind, is
Anointed (Messiah/Christ) and
Enlightened. As stated in the article
The Cross And The Seat Belt under
the subheading,
Religion As A System Of Education - The
Two Ways, if the original teachings
of Jesus and TheWay are properly
embraced, then these teachings
themselves are designed to bring about a
Knowing and Enlightened Condition within
the mind and life of the
seeker/disciple.
